Bell stood there she had no idea what to say. she felt like she was dreaming. The butterflies were going everywhere. He had said everything she had ever wanted to hear. She looked at him, and just looked. She knew she shouldn't want him. For one he was the bosses son, number two everything that was happening with her father. But she didn't care at that moment. She just looked at him with a smile on her face and hugged him. She felt the tears she didn't care. All she knew is she was happy. "You don't sound crazy." she whispered as she let go of him and looked up at him.
Patrick smiled at her, more relaxed now that she was so happy. He let go of her hands, placing them lightly on her cheeks. He lightly brushed the tears away before he lightly pressed his lips to her. "I love you Bell and I don't care what anyone else thinks." he said after pulling his lips away slightly. He then just wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. It felt right, it had what he had wanted for a long time and he had finally been able to say it all.
there was so much she wanted to say. Like why her for one. Why, all this time. They knew each other like brother and sister. But that was why she liked him. To her it felt like they were supposed to be together. Just then she left his lips on hers. She drew a deep breath as he pulled away. She felt light headed, but kept the smile on her face. "We should um..." She said lightheartedly ".. umm get back to work," she said with a widest smile she had ever had, the only thing now was the thing furthest from her mind.. her father.
Patrick smiled at her. "Right. I gotta tell Shiloh the good news." he said with a slight laugh. He started back into the barn, but stopped just outside the doors. "Bell, please don't let my father know. Not right now anyway." He said then entered the barn again. "Hey Shiloh. Wanna go for a ride buddy?" he asked, getting the equipment needed to ride.
That's when she came crashing down to earth. Her eyes grew wide. Her father, his father.. Her father would be so mad. She could just feel what he would do to her. She started to shake, really badly. She was not used to this. She knew what to expect Friday nights. but what would happen if she missed a Friday night. What if he found out that she liked Patrick? Suddenly she started to shiver even more.
Patrick looked over. "Hey Bell, want to take Coco for...a...ride?" he started out in a happy voice, but it faded some. He walked over to her. "What's wrong Bell? You are shaking..." he said, lightly placing his hand on her shoulder.
Bella looked up at him. "O nothing it's.. i'm just a little cold." she said as she looked up at him. She didn't have the heart to tell him. She couldn't though she wanted to. Many times over. She had wanted to tell even Kate, who she considered her one of her best friends. "Maybe we should go into the barn, and get to work." She mumbled. But just as she took a step forward, she felt dizzy and took two steps back.
"Bella...Why don't we go into the house for a bit? I already did most of the horse chores this morning, Kate can handle the rest. We'll go make some hot chocolate and then come back out." he said, putting his arm around her when she stepped back.
((Just to let everyone know I have tons of things to do today and I possibly have to take my dog to the vet so I may not be on often.))
She looked up at him and nodded. She looked over to the house. "I'm sorry." She whispered to Patrick. She looked down at the ground as they walked back up to the house. She felt so useless, " usually the weather don't bother me" she said as she shook her head.

Patrick looked at her and then placed his arm around her. "Don't be sorry." he said softly. "It's not your fault, you can't control the weather and truly, you can't help that you were cold. Unless...It's something else?" he gave her a questioning look. "Something other than the weather."
She gave a small gasp. "No it's the weather. I am just cold." She said as she looked up at him. She couldn't let Pat know anything. She refused. She even realized that after Friday there would be no more Pat. She probably would end up quitting her job to. She has let herself fall for him, and was even going on a date with him. Her father would be so upset. Once they got up to the house, she opened up the door, She was instantly greeted with warmth, as she walked into the livingroom area.
Patrick let out a soft sigh, removing his arm from her shoulder's. "I'll be right back with the hot coco." he said before walking into the kitchen. He put a kettle of water on the stove and turned it on before he placed his hands on the counter and looked down at it. 'She is lying to me. I can tell, she is. I love that girl, but...There is just something wrong.' he thought to himself, placing his forehead on the cupboard. A few silent tears dripped down his cheeks and onto the counter. 'Why am I crying? I have no reason to cry, at least I don't think I do.' he sighed, wiping the tears away as he waited for the water to boil.
She watched as Patrick walked into the kitchen. She closed her eyes and let a deep sigh out. I would not tell him, she vowed to herself. She could hear the running of water, and knew that he was making hot coco. "What have I gotten myself into?" She asked herself. She looked back into the direction of the kitchen. She could see Bacon, and eggs sitting out on the counter. Just then she noticed as Kate walked in. She quickly smiled and went to hug Kate. "I'm just a little cold that's all." he told her as she pulled away. "I'm getting a lot warmer now though." She said as she walked into the kitchen. "Think we should make bacon and eggs for your bothers and cousins??" She asked themas she gave a smile and reached for the bacon.
Patrick looked up. "If you want to then go ahead Bella, Kate can help you if she doesn't mind." he sort of mumbled his words, not making eye contact with Belle. He sighed. "I have to go talk to my father about something." he told her, moving past his sister and Belle. He walked over by the door and took off his shoes before putting on his boats.
((It's fine if she has a horse.))
She dropped the bacon as Kate had said girlfriend. They were not dating were they? She just agreed to go to the bonfire as a real date. They hadn't even had much time to talk about anything. Quickly she snapped back to reality and blushed. She watched as Patrick left. She wanted to say wait stay, but didn't bother because Kate was there. She looked after Patrick with pain in her eyes. Suddenly she saw Kate looking at her. "Slippery hands." She mumbled as she bent down to pick it up, just then she hit her head hard, on the counter. "Aahh" She said as she rubbed her forehead. "That's hurt!" She said with a laugh.
"She isn't my girlfriend and I wasn't crying. I had something in my eye." Patrick muttered to Kate. "Help her make breakfast or I'll tell Dad you are slacking on the chores." With that he opened the door, slamming it shut behind him. 'Should I have made sure Belle was okay? No, she was laughing. I also just said to lies in one sentence, but the first one isn't truly a lie unless she saw it that way.' Sighing he shook his head, wandering toward the horse barn. "Come on Shiloh. Were going to go talk to my father." he said, getting the horse ready to ride.
She watched as Patrick walked out of the house and slammed the door. She was furious now. He had no right to do that to her or Kate. She quickly ran after him. She flew past Kate and ran after Patrick. "What the hell is your problem?!" she asked him as she caught up with him. He was getting ready to take Shiloh out for a ride. She quickly ran a head of him and in front of Shiloh. "Patrick! Tell me now." She said with a growl. "You had no right to treat your sister that way." She said as she glared at him. One moment she had been all happy, the next she felt like she always did, everything was slipping and falling, dragging her down too. She thought for almost a minute that she could have been happy.
Patrick turned around, just pure frustrated now. "Why should I tell you anything? You are keeping something from me Bella!" he shouted at her. "It's not hard to tell when someone is lying when you grow up around so many brothers and sisters. How can we ever be happy if you are lying. I have been completely honest with you about everything!" Patrick sighed, burying his face into Shiloh. Shiloh nuzzled him some, then looked at Belle. "Bella...You can tell me anything. That's all I want is the truth. I also need to know. Are you going to ditch me after Friday night?"
