The spiders do not usually survive in colder parts of the UK, but a series of mild winters have led them to migrate to other areas.

-looks outside at hot weather- oh of course Scotland finally warms up when a random deadly spider comes over XD

Guys come on... there's like what only 1% or less than 10% fatality by being bitten by a spider. I am sure you'll have a high mortality rate in Maleria or snake bite than by that.

the smaller the insect / animal the easier it can hide in cargoes.

[user=Bambii-Cakess] I know there's a spider that can kill ppl. hmm Funnel Web Spider I believe (Please correct me if I got that wrong)... From what I know it can make a child die after 15 mins.

Flowers please?

Yeah, but this is Britain - and everyone knows we freak out at the sign of something unusual here. Take our attitude during the freak snow we had last winter, for example. x)

I had a creepy dream about this spider. I dreamt my dog found it in the bathroom and was nearly going to eat it, so I screamed and told her not to. The spider got away, but for some reason in my dream it was a cross between a spider and a bee. o.O;; That meant it could fly and so my entire dream was literally about me running amock the house escaping this bee/spider thing that was going to kill me. ^^

(it's not half bee, is it? plztellmenot xD)

is allergic to spiders already Oh, that would be fun to run into. Glad I don't live in Britain then.

Then again, living out in the country I encounter enough spiders as it is. X-x
