Okay so god weapons start having their blessing/curses kick in at 2k speed I see now that my 2nd pet finally hit that mark. The only thing is I have been using the Mecha since he's had like 1900 speed, which should boost him into 2k speed. I never saw them activate until he hit 2k speed on his own, and there was a lot of battling going on.
I just think speed (or maybe other stats too) boosting needs to be looked into, maybe it works for critical hit calculation but it doesn't seem to help with custom coding that is stat based.
I don't think boosted stats have ever affected stat based weapons actually. Just to think that if you are at 1580 attack and use malice to boost your attack and defense by 25, thus bringing the attack to the equivalent of 1605, P-Staff still won't have its main attack alter like it normally would at 1600+.

Yeah I thought about that when I included other stats besides speed because I suspected that was the case. I've never really thought about it before but now that I get a huge 250 boost it's easier to think about. Maybe it's intentional to keep the effect based on real stats, idk. Just wanted to bring it to the admin's attention so I can see what the verdict is.
We noticed this in testing when the mecha came out. It does work with crits, but it doesn't trigger any kind of custom coding. So yes, this is a known thing. It'll probably stay as-is, but that may change in the future. (It's a programming thing though, so we can't change it ourselves even if we wanted to)

IDK. Boosting speed can prove to be useful when you and your opponent's speeds are in close proximity to each other. Just to think that using two +20 speed boosts from the standard energized leg augments to allow me to outspeed Prodigy actually makes a big difference for me in BQs.

I think Mecha lets me cancel Prodigy criticals now but honestly that doesn't matter too much to me. Critical hits are not a part of the end game that you can control at all since it's just going to scale away from you when it matters.
It's all so different for people with even pets, crits matter when your health's so damn low. It's futile to think you can rely on that forever though !

Yeah it matters if you are 3500 evens I guess, but that's a build I don't anticipate having anytime soon xD
it's like trying to play subeta on hard mode! It takes twice the stats to do everything :P

The only reasons for why I am using speed boosts that way is so that I can still use a few more essences/tomes/froths but still be able to avoid crits from Prodigy (I don't have the best weapons for him yet and it is a way to help me fight him in BQs while I save up for weapons that work better against him).

I was battling the hustler when he used wormgears horns . The battle text read 'anasazis strength got boosted by 20!' was using blessed trident and gutting knife with TF scroll .
I posted this a month ago in the bug report forum, but Reya just asked me to crosspost it here. It's still an issue as far as I know.

Sentinel seems to not be working the way it did when it was first released/tested. Not sure if it's intentional, but it's giving blessings/curses without being paired with a combo legendary (or any other weapon).
It looks like when it was first released, you had to have a combo legendary also equipped for Sentinel to do that.

On the other hand (I couldn't resist testing, when I saw the posts on The Ultimate Weapon Guide) while it still boosts attack & defence on the legend combos and adds healing, they don't get their curses/blessings.
It isn't a weapon error but an opponent error. When I steal something from the hustler (for example the one ring) and I still have the one ring from my own armory and I use my one ring, the other one ring dissapears as if I've used both the one rings. Same goes for stealing, if the hustler steals one of the one rings then he steals them both. Which should be changed since I want to use what I steal from the user :)
