After several days of shopping, dressing up for EPIContest, and playing this year's most anticipated releases, con-goers are getting ready to take their sore feet back to their respective homes. *ahem!* This just in, everyone! The management facility of this year's EPICon would like me to tell you that the squabble between and has not gone unnoticed. Much to the contrary, they feel it has become an even larger focal point than the actual planned events. In light of this, they would like me to officially announce the results of the bet.

Based on overall item sales, EPIContest contribution, and the level of participation in the games released at this convention, the winner is…

I've never done anything like this before; it's all so exciting!!

EPICon management would like to thank not only Nico and Manwar, but also everyone who participated in this battle because sales soared through the roof! They also realize that most people were too busy supporting their causes to actually enjoy the convention, so they've vowed to leave the doors open so people may browse the wares they might have missed. As an added bonus, a special VIP Lounge has been set aside for the winning team to celebrate in luxury.

I think that this kind of sucks. Last year there was nothing special for the winning team. As well as the fact that the Islanders, the losing team can still get their faces painted but Pirates can't. It feels as if I have been on the losing team for two years now. This year the winners get a special shop and the other team does not.
