This kerubi is very... adequate. It updated the art without changing the pose, and while personally I'd have liked to see a more lively revamp, this is probably the best way to not freak out old kerubi owners!

Great revamp - I voted for the new one without any hesitation.

Overall, I like the revamp much better, although the face is a bit too chibi looking for my taste.

I really love the new AND old kerubis. I'd really like the new one more if it had the old version's eyes and smile. At least the eyes. The slanted eyes give the kerubi it's attitude. I don't want my pets to turn into cutesy pokemon. :K

The only thing I don't really like as much as the old design is that this one seems to "cutesy" and "nice." The old one had more personality and looked more mischievous to me.

But that's just my opinion. c:

Yay! This is much closer to how the kerubi used to look. Looking forward to a revamp.

I think the artist did well trying to keep to the original idea of the pet without changing to much besides basically updating the art. I love it, well done!

I have to agree that I don't really like the pose either, but otherwise it's a great revamp!

This new kerubi is very nicely drawn! It fits in with the other newly drawn pet images

I do like this one much better than the old one, but I guess I am the only one that never really liked the pose the Kerubi was in. I don't know how to explain why I don't, but it looks so awkward to me somehow.

I like the newer one so much! The only thing I think could be touched up are the eye colors. Maybe a bit more red

I can't think of anything to add to what has already been said.

I DO have to say that this is one of (if not THE) best revamps I can remember, in terms of keeping with the original pose and spirit of the pet. I have absolutely no complaints- endless kudos for the artist behind this. :]

I like it, but I do have a suggestion. The ears look long and almost rabbity. I like the big ears on the first one. I suggest waking them a bit wider to take the rabbit edge off it it. The length would be fine if they were bigger.

Kerubi's are my favorite pet, and I always disliked how inconsistent the base pets looked to the pose variation colours. But this is fantastic, my only crit is the shading is a tad too light, although I understand it's hard to do darks with grey I feel the thrid shade could be just a touch darker

But other then that, this is amazing, I love it <3

I'm glad it's being revamped!

I'm not terribly good at articulating critique well, it usually ends up vague and so not that helpful, but I guess I'll give it a shot. Some minor things I could throw out are: -Outline seems to have too much emphasis. -Head/face is a little wonky (I think the skull could be shaped better as it looks like its "collapsing" in some areas making the left* eye seem odd, for example.) -Chest is too "pointy", I understand wanting to emphasize fluff but I think it could be shaped a bit better. -The left* ear's perspective seem a bit of. That could just be me? -The structure of the front limbs isn't stellar and could be reworked a bit, I think. (* when I say left I mean from my perspective, so it would be the kerubi's right from its perspective)

As you can see, those are all just minor nitpicks. Thank you to the artist!

I think you guys really hit the mark here on this revamp. Kept pretty much the same pose, all of the body parts and colors look great. Gonna say I'm voting for the new one.

The ears don't look as happy to me, but that's about it. Maybe making them wider and/or those tips turn up?

Everything is up to your artists and all in all, fantastic job. hats off

Okay, I admit, I like the revamp, but I wish the wings were more like the old one. And the ears, too. I'm not sure what kind of animal the Kerubi is based off of, but there's something not quite right about the new ears. They look a little disproportionate to the head, if you ask me.

This revamp looks amazing. Much better than the old one. The fur and shading are drawn so much better and I love the wings on top of the head. The body structure is more 'realistic' and by that I mean proportional and I am happy the smirk was taken off. Love the eyes too, they look better when they aren't staring up at something.

It looks awesome, except that the top edge of the tail is too smooth. It should show some fur sticking out to show it's fluffiness

I like this new one a lot better. I liked kerubis before but this is pretty awesome - the shading and details look a whole lot better and the art style is much nicer, I think. I only have a few minor complaints, but I'm still planning on voting for the new one. The neck on the new one looks a little bit thick, in my opinion, and its expression does look a little bit worried. But I looooove how the pose stayed basically the same and how it still keeps the idea of the pet. Thank you guyssss. :3

Loving the new one~. The only thing I liked better about the old one was its eyes and its ears. I just liked that eye shape, really. And the ears on this one seem.. floppier? I don't know, something about it seems weird to me. But other that those minor things, I really do love it. c:

I like the old one better. To be honest, it seems like it's bloated, and it has a cold and trying to be in a good mode, just my opinion.

The revamp is very pretty, although if they eyes looked more like the old ones(in terms of shape) it'd be even better. Great job though, it's great to see how the artists keep improving <3

I'd say, besides the eyebrows and a few minor details addressed in posts below, this Kerubi seems a fitting revamp to the older art.

It's nice, and if it goes through, I just might use that last Arid Kerubi Elixir I've been hoarding. o3o

Lovely! Definitely keeps the character of the pet, while bringing the basic pose up to the art quality of the special poses.

The only thing I'd say - though this is really personal opinion - is that, while we're at it, it might be nice to make the paws a little more realistic/less stylized and lumpy.

Oh my... I adore it! xD Been a Kerubi fan since they were first released, and I'm glad to see such a beautiful update. x3 Although, I do have some relatively minor crits. On the face, where there are the two teal dots--on the old one, they go around the bottom of the eye slightly, and I really liked that. The new one keeps this trend on only one eye--the right (further away) eye. The dots by the left eye seem to just go straight down. Overall, it makes the two set look like they're slanted parallel or something of the sort. o.o; Hard to explain, but I'd like it if they were adjusted, even though it's not my decision to make. ^^; My only other issue was the eyebrow--I like the longer, curved eyebrow on the old one. The new one is really tiny. xD Those little things aside, it's an amazing update--I love how it was colored and shaded, it looks so fluffy and cuddle-able! Also, I'm really happy to see it still has a little smile on its face.

You know, I'm usually not too pleased about revamps, and the second I saw it was a Kerubi, my heart dropped a little, but this is one of the first re-dos that I've really liked. Honestly, in looking at them side-by-side, I'm really happy with the (inevitable) change. (Especially since the Kerubi is one of my favourite pets.)

It will never replace the hole in my heart from the old chibi paralix, though.

I much prefer the new kerubi to the old one. Its face is more open and looks as it if it is inviting you to play, whereas the older version looked a bit sour as if it was enjoying a private joke to which no-one else was invited. Brilliant bit of drawing - congratulations to the artist.
