Hello, I'm Titania McGee with <i>Channel 5 Action News</i>, your best source for up to date information.

Today marks a somber occasion for people throughout Subeta - It has been one year since the <a href=http://www.subeta.net/subetapedia/index.php?act=ventry&id=102>Zombie apocalypse</a> that so very nearly claimed all of our lives, and since the remaining Zombies were granted asylum in Shadowglen.

Chancellor Sebastian Phoenix has declared this time a Holiday for all of his territories of Subeta, and will be unveiling a memorial statue in the days to come. The statue has been a closely guarded secret by the Chancellor's office and the artisans involved, so be sure to watch the unveiling and dedication speech live on Channel 5 News!

We're also finding the some communities are choosing to <a href=http://www.subeta.net/subetapedia/index.php?act=ventry&id=101>celebrate in unconventional ways</a>! Will you be joining them?

I've kept having my regrets about not staying a zombie..but I was infected with the Lovebug/Love Leopard, so I didn't want to stay looking that way forever. Congrats to everyone who stayed zombies [including my twin Ragged XD] And hopefully those new zombie den items are really coveted, so you guys can get some SP as a reward for all that time

I thought the zombie den was stocking more items.. according to the article, anyway. Oh well, I'm proud of still being one of the undead.

And sorry, but to those who are hoping they can become a zombie again / for the first time - I still hope and beg of Keith not to allow it. I've been a zombie all year, and it's something that me and the others have chosen. It wouldn't really be fair to just let everyone in on the club again. Sure, I've discovered an awesome way to hide it if I choose to.. but that's only because I like lurking with all the healed people without them knowing. evil laugh

Guys, it could go the other way, it's not fair for those who stayed a zombie for a whole year, who have had to make HAs around their disease. Most of us stayed to be different. If all of sudden it came back what about us?

It's okay....life isn't fair. It's also okay to gripe about it a bit lol. I think something is coming up for us all to enjoy. I'm sad I missed the event last year, too, but I'm doing my best to look like a lovely zombie anyways ;P

But the difference is this is something being missed previously because you weren't here. It is something being missed currently, because you weren't here previously. I was here for Morostide 2007 and 2008, but I was gone last year, and have a new account. I don't mind buying items from plot events I missed. But I do mind missing an entire plot event, because my account is new.

It's NOT unfair to newer accounts. It's luck. There are plenty of things I've missed and my account is a few years old. Do I complain about what I missed before I joined? No. I should have joined earlier! My loss.

A plot that leaves out a large group of people is counter-productive. That would be like Subeta having a plot for people with accounts under 3 months old. Everyone on this site would then hoot and holler about how unfair it is. But when its for people who have been here a long time, screw the newbies Just saying.
