The Ocean Depths machine has almost gone out of business, from the lack of people being able to access it!

So for a limited time, it has moved to Delphi Beach.

Anyone BUYING tokens to vend right now has rocks in their head. 2k per token point is ridiculously expensive to use just on vending.

Here here! And it's not like those Islanders were the friendliest of sorts. I mean, the voodoo bastard kept screaming at us the entire time, even before we chose sides and then there's this -final sacrifice- every Islander seems to be over looking. Merana wants the little flower girl. To do what has yet to be seen but seeing as she's like, 1 of 2 villains we have (year round, that is) I don't think it's to make friends.

I personally find some of the remarks by some Islanders regarding this change very rude. Do you have any idea of the disadvantage of not being able to vend? Technically, the OD wasn't a part of the plot. Us pirates have been locked out for a month, and we even won the war too. Yes, we're supposedly the "bad guys" and apparantly "deserved it". But the plot's been going on for a while now and doesn't look like it's ending soon. I spent 1.6mil on my map pieces a week before I was locked out: is that fair? Seriously, just because the Islanders been more privelaged doesn't mean some people should insult us for simply choosing the "bad side" and whine about this change. Kudos to the staff - they are amazing to have done this!

A business that, having lost half of its customers (the Pirates) and being located right on the front lines of a war, has chosen to relocate until the danger has passed. It wasn't actually a part of the Islander's celebration unlike everything else on the Island, so there's no reason to ban Pirates from using it. There's your context

The shores of the Island are no longer a battle zone. The pirates left ages ago and went to Delphi remember (read p7 of the script)! I think that if the pirates have left the Islands then they still shouldn't have access to OD until the plot is finished. C'mon people, a month isn't really that long and I'm sure it won't drag on too much longer (at least I hope not )

Wait, what? Pirates 'won' the first part. Technically the plot isn't over so there's really no winner. But you cant say islanders won

The OD vending machine is not integral to the plot. The island is. Subeta's economy was starting to go wonky since a lot of items are released via the OD machine (god, the inflation on some of those accessories!) I don't see a problem with allowing pirates/neutral people to vend.

hmm ... after reading a lot of these posts by islanders, I think keith should let us pirates invade again and "explain" to the islanders (at sword point) exactly why we should be "allowed" to use the machine without restriction.

what is wrong with all the islanders complaining? we WON, therefore we have a RIGHT to use the damn vending machine. didn't you learn sharing in, like, preschool?

also, for the people complaining that it's not 'special' anymore, stfu. its for a LIMITED TIME, mkay? get over it.

Yes the plot has gone on. . . forever it seems. But my point is if the Pirates had an island (hypothetically) that the Islanders were "barred" from for the duration of the event. . . just as many people would complain about that. I just wish the move was done within some context of the plot to make sense. You're entitled to be happy or annoyed as you see fit I don't care either way. I'm just voicing my opinion

what the hell? Do you even know how long it's been since the plot started? It's been an entire month, and the plot still hasn't wrapped up yet. (and it doesn't look like it's going to wrap up any time soon too). A month is WAY too long to wait cyber-wise. As people have said previously, it feels like the pirates are being punishe even though they won the war, and being excluded from the vending machine thereafter is rather unfair.

Just because there was a plot that had us choose sides for a limited period of time doesn't mean pirate users should be banned from this machine forever. I'm sure once the plot was finished we all would have back to being on no team at all. It's silly to take a game/plot so seriously, it's really becoming scary how territorial some of the sides are getting. I would understand if at the end, only pirates got prizes, but it was equal and both sides got the chance to have prizes :/ And you never know, maybe something will happen and the teams (and no teams) will have to band together to finish this plot. Really, this is rather silly to be all 'So and So doesn't deserve this because they chose THAT team' I think some people are just more competitive than others.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

What? Come on, everyone has the uncharted land map now. I even have, like, four copies left over. The Ocean Depths must be making more money than it ever has, not going out of business.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Harlot

Gosh some of the islanders are getting REALLY whiney about this. STFU. To join a team, we all CLICKED A DAMN BUTTON. It's a game. Pirates are not better than islanders, islanders are not better than pirates. It was a close war, now stop being so butthurt you lost by a few points! It sounds really pathetic to say "WELL THEY JOINED THE BIG BAD PIRATES SO THEY DON'T DESERVE ANYTHING." Just stop, you look foolish.
