Wow. Well, as interesting as this is, it just totally ruined the whole war for me. I worked my butt off restocking and fighting (even though I had a freakin' surgery right in the middle of it all), and according to this, the Pirates only won because the Islanders took cover from the storm, and "Without an enemy to fight, the Pirates declared victory". That's it?! I feel really disappointed. I totally enjoyed this whole plot until just now. Now I feel cheated. Sorry, I know no one will probably agree with me, and I don't want to ruin it for everyone else. I just had to get that off my chest.

Ops! Somehow I lost the 1st haft of my post XD

I was talking about how the Pirates couldn't be the winner by simply beating the Islanders, and not auto-name themselves winners only because the adversary left the battlefield.

Couldn't the Pirates win because we just beat the opponents, instead of the Islanders leaving the battlefield and we simply decided to name ourselves the winners? >_> It's as if we did not win at all! And the whole "Pirates get nothing in return despite winning", and for weeks already, is starting to be unfair-ish. sigh I know we are the bad guys and so on... but still... deep sigh

Anyway, nice art and interesting plot. Great job! ^^

I somehow don't care about Amy. Never liked her. She is annoying. Although I do wish that nothing bad would happen to her.

DUN DUN DUNNNN what will happen next?? This really needs to speed up though, at this rate by the time we finish it will be October and Morostide, giving the artists no time to do anything for that. If Merana is the sea goddess they want to present an offering to, I think/hope the pirates were right. I would have liked to see them delve more deeply into the pirates' defense of their actions since they did so with the islanders, but that's just a small thing compared to this amazing storybook. It was worth the wait after all.

The ending of the book is also pretty good! I hadn't thought of the parallel between Amy and Shinwa before. I second what wonderpeach said. I thought that, too.

i like long-lasting plots =) i'm not really into the story, though - but i loved the RW - pirates buying shops empty - that is the funniest thought and i love all those little minions =)
