Good Afternoon! I'm Titania McGee with Channel 5 News, your BEST source for up to date information.

The story of the day is that the <a href=/games/rswar.php>war</a> has ended! As the seas begin to grow more and more restless, the crew of The Freyalise has decided to turn back toward the shores of Delphi to get Emma, Charity and Amy back to land safely, thus ending the war. Although it looks like a retreat on the part of the pirates, my sources have told me that the Islanders have been defeated, despite putting up an excellent fight.

It has been rumored that both Captain Jacques and High Priest Kahaleitzli have rewards planned for the soldiers who fought valiantly at their sides. Channel 5 will keep up with this and any details as the story continues to develop, as always.

Congrats to the pirates for winning, but I'm still super-proud of my fellow islanders! We managed to come back and give them a real run for their money, even overtaking at one point.

thank you, subeta team, that the servers didn't break down once! wow (the new system with more points depending on rarity was also great) i remember the last war (and still hope my trophy will be the same like before - but - oh well) and i'm glad that the pirates won - last night was really hard - so thanks to all who made it interesting and who fought (and i hope i have enough points to get something shiny )

The forum splats didn't look like water to me, which made it rather comical. Got to 800 which was my goal- never enough time in my day to play hero. Congrats to pirates,pass the rum.

Damn, I was hoping to get up to 500 today and now its over pouts Oh well I think Island did pretty damn well considering we were vastly outnumbered by about 1k+ Pirates most of the time so considering that wooohooo for both teams XD Hope I didn't screw myself with prizes since I didn't get a chance to get to 500 XD That was my first war

Whew. I'm glad it's over now. I was getting tired of RSing too. Although I'm most relieved to have lost by such a smaller margin than we were losing awhile back when we were 50 average points behind. 5 makes me feel much better about our efforts. X3

Whew, it's finally over... Pirates may have won, but we Islanders put up one Hell of a fight, and we were vastly outnumbered, so I think we did extremely well, personally. =P I was getting pretty sick of battling/restocking, so I'm sort of glad to see the war over. xD It was really, really fun though, and I can't wait to see what's coming next... it doesn't seem like things are entirely tied up yet. c:

its over they say but songaa is still in the battle dome all alone the island cannot be accessed by us pirates either and

I was getting a bit worried there last night because the Islanders were only one point behind. Glad to know that when I woke up this morning though that the Pirates won. :3 It was a pretty awesome battle on both sides though.

I don't quite believe that it's over. Seems very anticlimactic. But if it is. Huge congrats to the Pirates. You guys were awesome opponents and worked your asses off. Much love to my fellow Islanders. I've battled in every "war" since I started playing here almost two and a half years but this was by far the most fun and I owe that all to you guys. It's been a blast chatting and working with you through this whole event.
