This is the first hydrus pet I accually like, even though I completed the map a year ago. =P Kudos artists! (Now if we could just have a spectrum tigran and spectrum archan...)
, while this pet seems bright, it uses the same palette as many other hydrus pets. There are two palettes, this and the brown used on pets like the keeto and kanis.
This pet is not inconsistent.

Ah, I like this pet. It has a great pose, and I like the shades of blue. Kudos to the artist.
I only suggested it because it would have kept more consistency with the other hydrus pets. Besides that, I thought the design was very well done. Especially the pose! I wish I thought of it when I had made mine.

Kudos to the original artist though, poses are hard to fit nicely into these boxes.

@ drawmeastar: ...It was a sort of... error. It isn't possible now, I I'm not sure if I'll get in trouble for explaining it... but there used to be a way to get a pet not available in the Hydrus color to be Hydrus, by starting the quest with the pet as a different pet species.
