I went to count, and I only spotted like, 7 pets, including the Swampie that had something close to this position.
The Sheeta (Which is extremely popular - if not the most popular Glacier pet) and the Paralix are the closest one, but both were adored by viewers.
I see a few people don't like to keep seeing to rear of the Glaicer pets but what i think is if the artist chaged the way of the glacier pets to ONLY show you the front then people would whine about not have a rear view.
Any way I love it i am not tempted to go and get one but you can't please every one.
I think the markings are just as light on all the glacier pets. The tail is too long? How do you know? And as for pose, I think the pose goes along with the color.
I like the spikes, but the rest seems off. It's just... too plain.
It's . . . huh. It looks so blank and plain, and it seems tiny, like I'm looking at it from far away. Tail is much too long. The body reminds me of a ping-pong ball, very round and fat. Markings are too light.
And I know that Glacier pets are supposed to be disdainful and aloof, but I'm getting real tired of always seeing the rear of the pet. It would have been neat to see the head lowered and looking at you with those awesome grey eyes. A creature can still look at you and be disdainful, right? The darkonite, ruffie, serpenth, ontra, kora, kerubi, and tigrean pull this off wonderfully without showing you its ass.

You're quite eagle-eyed there! Yeps, it's the same artist who did both. If real ice looked that pretty, I wouldn't put anymore ice cubes in my drinks.

I dislike swampies alot. But I find this rather adorable.

Finally the Swampie gets some love too! And OMG it's gorgeous. It doesn't look as haughty as it's counterparts but that's a good thing IMO. It's beautiful and the ice crystal shards work SO well with it's body's flow.

I always thought the Swampie looked awkward because it doesn't have much detail to it. Really just it's face has depth to the character. And while this is drawn amazingly, the Swampie as a whole species doesn't really pull off something pretty like this, because there's no where to put amazingly creative details with it D;

It's pretty but a little.. akward looking somehow. I mean if I didn't love my current pets I'd still think about getting one, and its certainly better than I could do but... yeah.
Eh... The head is nice. I love the spikes. But it seems so unfinished.
