. . . What are you doing here? My, my, well. Come right in. I have some . . . devices that need testing. I got them at the, uh, Holiday Shop. For Morostide. You know. No, no, don't worry about the door shutting. Or the screaming. It's the TV. Please, come in. Maybe you can help me paint my wall . . .

Not sure actually if this was intended for me or Javado, as I was just using Javado's suggestion as an example, but just to clarify I wasn't comparing the torture devices to the sexual deviance items as though comparing two things to measure similarity. Rather, I was comparing the Subeta-public's response to said items. It was suggested by another user that the age limit for the site be raised due to the mature nature of these torture device items.

I was mearly agreeing that it seems strange that users would feel that these items warrent an age increase when, by comparison, very few users feel the sexual deviancy items merit an age limit upgrade. Both sets are, well, essentially obscene and wanton, so they carry similarities in that respect. So 'why treat one set more strictly than the other' is, I think, what this whole thing was really about.

All this aside! I think the Subeta artists did a fantastic job on these items; both art quality wise and substance. The amount of updates, at the high quality it's been, that the artists are banging out right now is remarkable. Keep up the good work!

Yes! I totally agree. I bought the Four Barrel Ripgun before I knew it was wearable...it's in my vault.

Tche, I was just trying to point out that comparing sex and death is a little bit of a logical jump Not really commenting on the items themselves per se.

Do you have nothing better to complain about? No one, including the staff, have ever claimed Subeta was a G-rated site. I don't understand why people feel the need to comment on every little thing that isn't rainbows and bunnies--if you don't like the items, don't buy them. I used to think the Subeta community was one of the most open and fun, but some of these...conservative...types bring the whole spirit of the 'world' and holiday down. Don't like it? Just...walk away. It really is that simple.

So, I'm not the only one who has the relation of "SAW" pop into their mind when they see these items. It's stellar that Subeta is getting into the Saw V spirit. 8D

Great job staff. These items are perfect for Aiden's treasure chest.

Wow, these are great! And just in time too, Halloween is on its way!

To those who are upset with these items... have you considered just not owning them? Not every game site has to be appropriate for all ages. There are other options if things like this offend you, but I personally love the idea of items like this in terms of the fun scare factor so close to Halloween. Besides, there are thousands of other items to chose from if these particular ones don't work for for a user in particular. =)

It's still called a cross. Even though it's not truly a cross. And, unlike the new releases, you can wear that one.

We have guns. We have knifes. We can have torture devices.

It's like comparing a tooth brush and a tampon.

And anyhow, if you die while having sex, at least it's not horrible (usually) vs. dying whilst being tortured.

And to those who said they are a part of history, ok, where is the cross?? Also a meathod of death and torture

Everyone is entitled to their opinions reguarding the character of the latest pets and items, that's a given. It seems that despite the obvious celebration of the season, a good number of folks are put off by the "gruesome" nature of these releases, feeling that they're too horrific, especially for the younger crowd.

To those folks; consider this: I have to agree completely with Javado who earlier mentioned, that while many people have expressed their discontent with these new macabre items and pets, very few people by comparison seem concerned with the large number of sexual deviance items present on the site. Being that this is considered more an adult arena, the items, pets, and storylines are generally going to be more mature. If the age rating for the site was going to be altered by the manner of a new set of items, I can't see how these here would be that benchmark. I think I would sooner raise the age limit for the bondage an sexual deviance items, as the items released here are actual period devices that defined a great deal of human history. That doesn't make them any less offensive, by all means, but at least you can't go out, buy, and practice use with this kinda stuff anymore - or influence somebody to. Know what I mean?
