The reason that the GA people get the bonus time is because they actually paid to help Keith build on the servers. If you watched Keith Answers, the only way the servers work is from the cash shop.

Thank you. Your work on the site is definitely appreciated. I know we all wish the progress was coming along at a faster rate, but we are still grateful your maintenance of the site we waste away parts of our real lives on. ^^
And I must point out to those discussing the issue that although those without GAs do suffer, it seems only right for those of us with them to be compensated with the time we lost on the extra features we lose when the site is down or not working properly. While others who purchase items from the cash shop do support the site financially, those items are received after payment and are not for a month worth of extras that get lost out on as GAs are. I will not, however, argue that everyone shouldn't get a little something extra for their patience with the seeming ever-present downtime of the site.

My GA expired 2 days ago! You know, during all the crappiness. Thanks for the compensation (not!). I don't think I'll ever buy one again, or at least until the site is up for 1 week with no downtime, lag, or server restarts. Which is never.

To be fair Keith, I think that many people who don't have GAs very likely support the site via other Cash Shop items, so they have indeed spent money.
Not that it matters to me; I am not interested in having a Gold Account. Just thought that deserved putting out there.
