I love the giveaway events. I'm in the UK but I don't think I miss out particularly because of that - I got a ton of good stuff at the one after xmas. The thing is, even if you don't get the rare item you particularly wanted yourself, the price of it will fall and its so easy to make sp on subeta that you're still going to have a better chance of getting it.
I think everyone just needs to stop complaining. Look at it this way, at let your getting free items. Whether you got a rare item or not it was still free and you DID NOT have to pay for it.
So stop complaining and if you don't like it, Don't do it. Go play a game or find something to entertain yourselves. Because Frankly your just making yourself look bad by complaining about the situation.

Considering that I re-added a ton of items this morning, which I believe is a decent time in the UK.
That doesn't change the fact that this is an american site, and Subeta time is EST. That's the timezone that I live in, and the majority (80%) of our users are in the US.
slushienatorall I'm trying o say that you have to be lucky to get online when the rare items are released, I was lucky enough because I was awake at 2 in the morning but even those who arrived a bit late still didn't get any rare items until the next waves were released.
Actually Prestige I've never seen the DC work that way, last night they kept adding the really rare items when there was nothing rare left. You could just tell by seeing how the number of items in the DC increased once the rare items reappeared.
Teehee I'm just grabbing neat wearables for my wardrobe now. However I hope there is another chance to get some more rarities, because I would love to nab another wishlist item!!
Just so everyone can get a little idea of how the Donation Corner works.
When 150,000 items get put into the Donation Corner you can't just file through all the items. Think of it this way, all items are put into a different filing cabinet drawer and you need to take a certain number items out of the first drawer before the second drawer opens.
Those of you saying that it isn't fair to everyone who wasn't on...with such a large amount of items everyone has an equal chance of getting those rare items as long as they are online. You just need to be on during the right time when enough items have been taken from the DC that the next "drawer of items" is open. It is programmed to limit that favoritism everyone is worrying about.
slushienator of course you are right, but well.... i complained about it this morning too, and the only i got was an angry comment of someone who has been online and doesn't understand why i said that....
i think this will never change. we will have to stand up late at night, when we want some of the really good items
but who know. maybe all users online are just too lazy to write if they get something....
i will be very careful with what i say, after the discussion this morning. it doesn't change anything anyways. only that others get angry

XD I know what you mean but im angry that everything is always favoured to americans, i hope they release more good stuff for people in the UK and other countries that dont get online until everything is ogne =/ ive seen so many people snaging AMAZING stuff that i've wanted for ages which is just tough luck really, but i could have got them if i were online... you know? /rant
sometimes they do a second restock... maybe a bit later, but the last giveaways there were more than one "item wave"

i think it was pretty nice. i've seen a lot expensive items, but i didn't take them, because i don't want to make money with those things as there were so many users online who maybe really wanted these ones.- i only took what i liked.
the only thing i would have loved was a following for my friend. that would have been awesome, but hey. it was nice anyway
the really good stuff are gone within the first 5-10 minutes, it's all a matter of being there exactly when they're released. Although there are still some nice wearables in there!

i don't complain for my own luck. i have almost everything i need (my wishlist has gotten very short) and i don't have problems with working for my goals.
it's just that i think it's well.... hard to hear it by the sites owner, something like for him the users are not all the same. that disappoints me, cause i always thought that subeta is so good, because the stuff is so "near" and that they are near for everybody

I stumbled in at random and found it going on, at a time that was definitely not optimum for me. I have teenagers that need fed, chauffered around, etc. It was friday night in Florida, USA.
Yet I spent some time refreshing, saw they added to the stockpile at least once, and managed to get a couple quite nice items, and a few more common ones. Point is, it is all free stuff, you can spend hours refreshing looking for rares, or just grab shiny common items that amuse you.
Instead of complaining.. try "Thanks Keith and Subeta Staff!".
