When I just came on I saw there was another new trivia and just went "crap" since I didn't have time to answer the last one because of school. But that's alright, I got to answer this one XD

I agree Lynelle, and I am grateful that she continues with Trivia too. It is a thankless job where it is simply impossible to please everyone. .

That being said, I am now going to bang my head on the wall for answering too soon. I believe I found an answer that fits better...though -slightly- technically my first answer was correct too. LOL

And if she left the trivia up, and didn't switch the prize, then I can see complaints about the item being worthless because too many are in circulation. I've seen that happen when the triv was left up a long time because of unusual circumstances. (like major storms that take out Debilee's computer). xD

Lynelle- I agree. And rather than getting annoyed at her, you'd think people would be annoyed at the ones cheating. -.- Seriously, it's just one item at a time and a handful of sp. If you don't get it, at least don't do anything to get it taken down early so it's easier to buy in trades.

I just feel sorry for Debilee, is all.

Last trivia when the answer was apparently posted on yahoo answers, she left it up long so people could answer it. But switched the prize. And people complained about the prize switch. And people said on the chatboards they'd prefer the trivia end early and keep the prize.

So, this time she keeps the prize, but removes the trivia. And now people complain that the trivia wasn't up long enough.

Doesn't matter what she does, someone is upset about it. I'm surprised (and incredibly grateful) that she still does the trivia. I love the challenge.

Lynelle, as past trivia's have shown, there are at least 6000 members that attempt to participate in the trivia. I'm not saying we should leave the trivia up for days for all 6000 people to answer.
The last trivia was up for roughly 16 hours. That is just not long enough for people who actually have jobs and school and can't spend all day on Subeta waiting for a trivia.

Great. I knew the answer to the trivia before last but didn't have the confidence to submit it, and I didn't even get a chance to work on this last one. Just great.

(I know Debi has every right to change the trivia whenever she deems necessary, but it doesn't make me any more happy about it.)

I'm sorry, but the site will NEVER stop cheaters. So what if the prize gets changed to some shirt? They won't care. They would have gotten a new wearable prize and be happy anyway.

Its rather childish to assume that everyone will stop cheating. People will always go to Yahoo answers (or whatever site they use to cheat. I don't, so I'm not 100% sure) and ask the question. Users planting false answers and the like aren't going to change that. Its just a sad fact of life that some people feel the need to cheat and punishing everyone for their bad behavior is pathetic.

How many of the 200,000 accounts are active users? And of those active users how many even try to answer the trivia?

Saying we have 200,000 users is just a general blanket number. But I bet a fair amount aren't active (my four children hardly ever play the site these days, but they keep their accounts cause they like to plaster each other with snowballs now and then. LOL). And most of my friends don't bother with the trivia. I just wonder how many of the 200k users are active "trivia hunters". xD

1700 entries on a site that has almost 200 thousand registered users is not right. I really disagree with the rule that says if it gets over 1000 users its alright to change the trivia. Sure, it was fair a few years ago when the site was smaller, but guess what. Sites grow and games that are based on how many people enter /need/ to be changed or given a time limit. I really don't see how staff fails to realize this.

I don't know the first one offhand so I guess I'm off to look for it. That is if I can find an answer before it decides to get switched.

Anyway, happy birthday Debi Birthdays are always nice!
