I thought of the China-Taiwan thing too, but I figured I'd side with Taiwan. They act independently, even if China and some others don't recognize them as such.

Taiwan's Environmental Protection Administration this year introduced its "virtual sky lantern" Web site (waste26.epa.gov.tw/skylight), where people can release a digital lantern rather than a real one.

i"ll never get the new one so guess I'll buy it or trade something for it

It's actually under dispute for a LONG LONG time, lol. both china government and taiwan government claims they have rights over that island. but since taiwan government isn't really a federal government, so the United Nations, as well as most other countries still consider taiwan as a part of china instead of an individual country.

Well not like, "which answer is right", but in the past I've asked and she can kind of lead you to the correct one. I asked about how specific she wanted the Buck Day one, and she said to be specific. Which meant Buck Day, not Deer Day. I assume if you mailed her with something like, "I found an answer, but it isn't technically a country", she would have let you know if that was okay or not.

I actually saw that one too. but still, politically taiwan is just a province of china, which kinda works like a state in the US. it has its own government of some sort, but it's not a county.

But that would mean that Hong Kong isn't a country either. But then, China wouldn't really be, either, as it's a Republic if it encompasses them.
