Due to a few users buying up low rarity items from user shops, and trying to sell them off for tons and tons more in the trades - you can now see the rarity of all items while trading :)

PLEASE make sure to check the rarity, and value of items before you accept a trade (or bid on a pretty item!) from someone who might be trying to trick you :(

I don't think the staff believes that trade prices are based solely on rarity, this addition just gives people a heads up if they're being asked to pay high prices for low rarity items. There will always be exceptions, like in the case of new highly sought after items for example.

This is a fabulous idea!! It will help immensely with new released items as well. Paying millions for a R20 item is absurd.

I think it is lovely. A decent solution to a few immoral idividuals and the effect is has on us all. There should also be a rarity guide for newbies!

Well, you had a good point then, Sawars.
I agree with Chaos Rocket- I liked the pop-up boxes displaying the real rarities, not 'mundane' or 'super rare.'

Thanks! Can you also bring back the thing where the info box that pops up over the item has the specific rarity number in it? I don't understand why that was taken away in the first place, I loved that.

This is a great new feature. Hopefully it'll also effect the prices of newly released items. When someone sees a new item is only a R28 hopefully they'll think twice before spending millions on it.

AristoDragon, that's about what I had said down there somewhere.

I think everyone ignored me though. Oh well, I'm used to it.

Kiruna, my point was that you shouldn't rely on the rarities, because they aren't always priced by the rarity.

Download Firefox, I know Safari and IE [7] both don't work for the trades, so I had to download Firefox, also[:

People could actually sell junk for millions? Dang... I just buy up all the junk I can and hoard it. Sometimes in hopes that the Recycle Beast will ask for it, and it did happen a few items with items I happened to have hundreds/a thousand of... I would only sell one at a time though, and I never make a profit. Awfully hard to make a profit off an item I sell for 5k when I spent over 100k just to get it to that price XD This is an awesome feature! How many times I've wanted some simple, low-rarity items, only to have them worth a ridiculous amount... I don't mind so much when people buy-up items like that, but when they try to resell and make a profit, that's just not right...

You know what a good thing would be to have on subeta? A "Find My items" Thing, I mean like how many times have you tired to find an item that you have and you just can't see to find it? some thing like that would be good it could tell you were you can find your item that you've left in your gallery/vault/pet treasure chest It would be handy =D

Also this is useful thats subeta =3

Is this feature going to affect the value of the 150 rarity Trivia Prizes? It seems you can't always base price off of rarity.

I like this new feature... Newer users are less likely to get caught like that... I was just tellin' a friend to watch out for that last night...

AristoDragon, those are items that aren't in high demand... ^^ The problem was people buyin' up r40 or lower and tryin' to trade them for millions in items... Only for the poor person to in a day or so find out it's not worth anything near that...

I'm glad this was added. I -stupidly- didn't check the rarity of one of the inflated items, and when I saw the going price, I happily traded my item for four of the other. When I saw it was just mass inflation, I just donated the items. Not that I'm ever going to trade for items without checking rarities again, but it's nice not to have to go to subetahq to research. Thanks Keith. c:

Except I can easilly find r80+ items under 100k, as well as retired items and 'special' items. I don't think rarity is good to go off 100% of the time.
