The kora is gorgeous. Beautifully executed, and I love how it looks like the wind is blowing the fire. Nice effect!
However, I really dislike the kumos. In fact I didn't know it WAS a kumos at first. I don't like how the mouth looks like it's rotting or pulling and I don't understand what is up with it's front right paw. It looks like it broke it and it healed on completly backwards - not to mention it looks terribly small compared to the other paws - and it's not a perspective problem. I also wish that the nightmare-whisps were more pronounced and filled the image more.
Not my cup of tea I'm afraid.

I would have liked to see more light from the flames reflecting off of the Kora's body. That or more shading.
All in all, both look great, and we can always use more pet colors.
