Fantastic idea, but the rate should be upped...400 million for the ametsuchi which isn't the most popular of legendary wearables is till pricey.

No, it is 400 million. 40,000 x 10,000 is 400 million.
You forgot to divide by 10, Sparts. 100k gets you 10 Recycle Points, not just one. The Ametsuchi is 40 million.
I'd like 15 for 100K better.

I thought it was a bad rate at first. But if you haven't hoarded the items he asks for, and go to buy them. To buy ten items to get ten points you'd spend more than 100k. I will mainly just continue to hoard. But overall the smelting rate is not a bad as some are saying. And I don't think it's supposed to take the place of hoarding. It's just an extra way to get points.

I think this is a very, very good idea. It adds a much-needed sP sinkhole to the economy while at the same time allowing the Ametsuchi be slightly more obtainable. Awesome idea!
I so want that Doggy minion , it's going to take me forever to save up enough points there to get one though.

I think this is very useful, since by the time I get to items they're snatched up and valued at a much higher price. 
It would take a long time if you used the smelter alone, but if you just used it to top up the amount you can get from restocking items and buying them from shops, it could be useful. I mean, a lot of things on this site are so easy to get, like potions. Doesn't there have to be something that takes a lot of effort to get? Otherwise soon there wouldn't be much point to playing.
Um? The Recycle Beast has ALWAYS been ridiculously expensive. All this is doing is allowing people to accumulate points faster, not cheaper. If you want to get a legendary weapon easily, go buy yourself an Aemis. Let the Ametsuchi stay a mark of status, of time and effort and sP spent.
I like the idea. While you can still get points the normal way, if you are just a little bit away from the item you want, you can easily make up the difference. -shrugs-

The items that the recycle beast asks for are only expencive because they are not changed frequently enough. Of course if they are the same for over a month, they will become almost unbuyable.

This is awesome! Even though it's once a day (which I think actually balances it), it is much more affordable than what pricegougers charge (at 30,000 per item, you'd be paying 300,000 sp for 10 recycle points).

I see, people think thats a nice rate... just because the price in user shops when they are asked. I tell you, it's not worth spending 100k to get only 10 pts if you rs the item he ask. they all rs at under 1k each...
and what... 10 recycle pt a day... take years to get the nice things there... not mentioning how much it will cost in the end too!
But again, I love the idea, just which that 100k would give more pt and that we could get more then 10pts a day from there!

I don't think that's too much, the items that he is asking for now are more than that. Also you can sell the items you get from him for a lot. Plus, I only just started playing on the site and after my sister gave me a little half-hour tutorial, I don't have any trouble making half a million sP or more a day, plus the wizard has given me some items worth a million or more points. So it seems to me lots of people would have 100K per day for this is they wanted.

Eww that's a rip off. I don't/won't pay that much per Recycle point.
I think it will have no impact on Recycle Beast items hyper inflation as the items are no more or less affordable than before.
It may seem like an unfair exchange rate but perhaps it will also keep the recycle beast items from inflating so much and they might actually have a chance to go back to normal prices by the time he asks for them again.
Please look up the prices of the items that the Beast is asking for now before you say that 100k is too much for 10 points.
The problem is its going to throw those junk items up at a much higher price once the hoarders start buying them up. Heck anything is cheaper than 10k a piece.
Also whats semi disturbing about this is: The average user has 827,967 sP.

There is no way I could afford to spend that much on tokens. I couldn't even afford 30 recycle points with what I own. Who are these people with vast amounts of SP tp waste?
I prefer buy future items to recycle. But it's ok this sP Smelter... :}

This was not created to make the Recycle Beasts items cheaper. It's just another way to exchange recycle points. You are not forced to use it. o_O
If you buy 10 recycle items in the shop search, it will cost you more than 100k, actually.
Of course, the better and cheaper way to make recycle points is still to hoarding low-rarities items or trying to restock the items needed. I do that and I won't stop because the smelter is here.
Like I said, if some people are willing to spend 100k in the smelter, they can do it...and if they don't want to, they just have to continue how they were doing before its release. ^^''

The minions are lovely though.
I also think 100k for 100 recycle points would make the ultimate goal of getting sP out of the economy work better. A lot more people would use it at that rate, as opposed to nearly no one now.

When will the beast be requesting new items. He only change them occationly and keeps asking for the same ones over and over, what about all those worthless items where there are hundreds of them in the shops and no-one wants them. We need to get rid of them somehow.

I completely understand wanting to keep this weapon actually one of the rarer ones.. but that's just.. :/ not worth the money? I mean if it had insane stats or something I'd say it'd be worth it but o_x herm.
If it was a better exchange rate I would use it all the time I agree with whats been stated already..Its a cool concept but I'm not paying 30 million for a dress..3 maybe but 30 no way..I cant justify that..my pets would never forgive me

The minions are pretty but the price is a bit high for only 10 points. It's easier & cheaper to just get items to turn in. Otherwise a good idea though.
