It's not necessarily an auto freeze, which is why I included warnable. It's just a freeze the largest percentage of the time. But it is an auto freeze for any of the rest of the group of deliberate cheaters who are caught, as they are definitely posting it in order to cheat.

Also, since there are now new rules for what is considered freezable during trivia discussions, perhaps statements like this should be made other than in the comments section, where no one will be able to see them once they disappear from the first page?

Informing people that the new trivia has been posted, perhaps. Linking to the trivia page wouldn't be freezable, I imagine...so why would posting the text on the trivia page be freezable? It's not the answer.

What if the site goes down, and people on an off-site forum want to know what the question is, so they can think about it? Someone could blithely post the question there and not know that it would cost them their account.

paintinglies, i think that logically, just posting the next in a series is the simplest methods of determining an answer (to the previous trivia). while i understand what you are saying, the series wasn't specifically asking for the next in a series of stocks... which was part of the 'trick' to the trivia. i had the same dilemma when i had to put my answer in the blank... but ultimately, went with gmw.

The last trivia made perfect sense (not only to me but also to hundreds of others) - the list of words were abbreviated making the answer abbreviated too Gosh I wish this comment page was only for current/new trivia related comments. Good luck to everyone with the newest trivia!

They do have something in common, they're all on the same page reading from top to bottom. Your logic might be fine, the thing they had in common was just not what you had thought it to be. Just under 300 people did figure it out and win, which was more than any recent Trivia I can think of.

Nah, we all know im NOT shy to state my opinion when I see something wrong .. BUT, I try to be fair on both sides of the coin. I totally get that one now. I didnt get it, as far as getting the answer .. but now that I see it, in all fairness, no argueing its plainly right there. It doesnt ask what in the same catagorie comes next, or anything of that nature. Simply, what comes next. I dont know how, after being told, ppl arent seeing it. Congrats to those who got it .

I ended up finding the answer to the last one after I had already submitted a wrong answer. I didn't want to take the chance of missing out on a prize cause of my waiting until I can search more thoroughly like I did for the one before it so I entered what I thought may be the answer at the time. At least I am positive I have this one right.

Okay, I glanced over the new comments on the past Trivia, and someone posted some misinformation. Posting the current question anywhere at all is cheating, and is reportable/warnable/freezable. So you can report anyone you see doing so, and please provide a link for either myself (preferably), or whichever UA you choose to sMail.

Yeah, the question said what comes next but lets think about it logically. When you create a list like that the things have to have something in common or no one will be able to identify what they are supposed to be looking for. The theme of that list was that they are all stocks. Global Market Worth is NOT a stock, so how does that fit with the list of abbreviations? Fine, I got the trivia wrong but you can't tell me my logic is wrong.

I'm sad, I really wanted a Baaaaaa but I put AC as an answer, figuring Advent Calendar was the next thing, since Global Market Worth isnt a stock. I felt like I had a 50/50 chance if I put GMW or AC. Oh well on to try the next one...
