We would like to remind you all to be respectful of your peers here on Subeta and on the internet as a whole; we ask you not to post spoilers for any upcoming books or movies in any public places. You are welcome to share spoilers amongst each other via sMail if asked to give/recieve them, but keep in mind that others may not want to rush into the synopsis just yet. However, if a thread does contain a spoiler or may contain spoilers in discussion, we ask that you clearly state that there could be in the topic's title. This applies to any upcoming movie and/or book.

I just love how everyone automatically thinks, "o lol can't spoil HP". When even though this was made before the HP book came out, and the HP book is most likely, for the most part, the reason this is here, it does say any and all books or movies. cB

This is a very sensible news post for the staff to make. There are alot of rude people on Subeta apparently that don't give a hoot about the thoughts or feelings of others. I don't read the books myself, but my daughter does. But I do know I would be highly ticked if someone ruined a book I wanted to read. =/

Frankly, if people stay out of certain subforums, the chats and/or shout box, they won't have to fear anything from spoilers.

For once I'm glad I hate HP. I thought up of ending myself, I only want the book to see if I'm right about the ending. But thanks for posting this. I don't care about spoliers for most books unless it's a book I really like. And I know tons of people like HP.

When HBP came out, I read the book over the weekend and called my friend who hadn't finished it and told him that Dumbledore died. He was soooo mad. xD So when I went over to his house I was like "Sorry for spoiling that part for you. I thought you had gotten to the part where Dumbledore dies." and his mom was there and she was like "WHAT?! I haven't gotten to that part either!!" and I was like "Awww s**t." xD And from that point on I never spoiled any books for anyone else.

I actually find this highly amusing. I hope my book gets delivered early in the day so I'll have all weekend to finish it... and now imagine living in a country where it'll take some time for the translation to be released - keeping what happens a secret is almost impossible! Sometimes I think I should get a T-Shirt with the most important spoiler and walk around with it... heh, delinquent thoughts. ^^x

I personally do not read those books, but I can understand not wanting something to be spoiled. I had waited to see the new POTC movie (I avoided all reviews and ads) then I read a comment about it. I was not happy. Of course the person said that they had not given anything away, but when I saw the movie I realised that they had. It was still a good movie, but would have been better if I had not known what I did. I hope that made sense.

Thank you thank you thank you for doing this Subeta staff! I was scared to go online period over the next week. I'll just have to read really fast. I'm so scared to find out what happens though. And plus I get depressed when I think about it and realize that the series will be over in a few days. I'm such a HP freak.

I don't normally comment much on the news posts, but this one I had to . Thank you thank you thank you so very much to the Subeta staff for realizing and embracing the fact that there is a bit of a life outside of Subeta. You guys don't have your head stuck so far in the cough clouds of a coporate conglomerate that you pretend that your world is the only world! Speaking of which, my family is actually buying two, because with two people who want to read it, it's the only way to manage. And besides, I'm going off to college, so now I can take one with me.

The reason for this is that Scolastic is going after websites using the courts to get info off. They just hit Gaia because a user posted pics something. Don't know what, don't wanna know. Just read it on MSNBC.

Just be careful, all. There are supposedly leaked copies floating around the net, but a spokesperson from Scholastic (the publisher) said they're all a bit different. I'm keeping my eyes wide shut on this--I've waited 8 years for the series to come to a close, and I can wait two more days to get the real deal.

Spoilers for what? The only thing I can think about is Harry Potter, but I haven't heard anything about it. Are people ruining the deaths by telling everyone before they read it!? Or is it because they gave away the death to the last one, immediatly after it came out and they could do the same now. NO! runs away from everyone You'll never tell me anything!
