Also, a lot of the higher level prizes are still the same (the crown, etc)
Soon we'll be adding levels past 75, up to 100, with brand new (and far more interesting) prizes.
From the angel wings and forward, are hte same prizes as before, right now.
The start might be easier and cheaper - and the prizes better (but they were pretty bad before - restarting just BURNNNNED) But no one knows yet how the higher levels go - but I'm willing to wager the levels will get harder and harder - and therefore the prizes even more worthwhile than the old Item Hunt prizes were. We'll just all have to wait and see
They aren't easier now, and aren't cheaper. It's mostly the same items asked for (actually, the higher levels are even harder)

;__; I was at level 50 something... This really, really sucks. I spent millions on that, and I had to stop for a few weeks to regain my sP. This is really upsetting... u__u I was trying to get the tiara for my friend.
Somehow, I doubt any other prizes will change. The Million Dollar Dot wasn't an attractive prize, per se, but the pointlessness of it (which is ironic given it WAS a point, really) was what made it cool somehow. It's a DOT but so very few had one that it represented SOME level of achievement for me. If I liked Bobbleheads, I'd like the change, too. If Merana existed anywhere other than that being that otherwise irrelevant chick who makes pets Hyrus, I might like like the change even more, but neither of those things happen to be true.
yeah, Like I said, I feel bad foryou and people in your shoes, Barry that have spent time and money into the quest only to have them reset. I know I'd probably be reacting in the same way :c
But yes, This will probably get more people playing and the items more plentiful and most likely less expensive so that... everyone can get a chance at getting one? o.o

I was on level 54 . . .56 . . ? Somewhere in there, and honestly, I'd have quit anyway, even if the game hadn't gone down, because I didn't like the remaining prizes enough to justify what I'd have had to spend to get them.
I got to that level surprisingly cheaply too; I think I only had a total of 7 or 8 unbuyable quests in total.
I like what I see of these prizes a great deal more though, so I'm pretty pleased with all this. Must have Anpan. Must.
And it seems to me that anyone hoarding the old prizes should see them increase in value, seeing as there will be no more of those given out.

How does this work? Is it like, you spend increasingly larger amounts every level, but you also get increasingly better prizes? And if you miss one do you go back to level 1? newb

Yes, thank you, Riokri! This is something that wasn't easy and it wasn't cheap. I already got to level 51 once only to be reset due to images not loading and nothing being done in regards to that glitch. I bit my tongue and I started over. I was thisclose to the end and I, along with everyone else who was doing these quests, have every right to be annoyed. I don't even have my prize anymore. TRY to understand. My Million Dollar Dot is a Chibi Merana Bobblehead Doll now.

Some people have spent millions on these quest and now all that work is was for nothing. You really can't blame them for complaining better prizes or not ^^;;

looks at subeta's clock Oooh, only two hours away before the next day! I want that little red panda like BAD. Frankly, I'm happy about the whole thing. All the other items were kinda boring and weren't worth playing for. Well, for me that is. Just my opinion ^^;

See, the trouble (and annoying aspect) of this is that there are people who never tried before... Never thought about trying before... Oh, but now that there's cute little junker minions and let's ALL play... Those of us who tried and spent and struggled to reach whatever level, high or low, should not lose the value of that achievement. Rather, there should have been created an Item Hunter II. Having said this, watch 'em do it and I'm back to level 6 on the first one because I did my quests BEFORE they rethought their revamp.

On the bright side - the prizes seem considerably better now. Maybe more people will actually DO the Item Hunt, and starting over won't be quite as bad as it was.
