A new trivia question has been added!

Okay, I found the answer(mis-spelled it I thinkgrrr).. anyways.... I was at a family member's house, and just for s&g, looked with FF, then IE, and.. darlins, they're right, without knowing a certain trick, you cannot find it.
Repeatedly, I've grown frustrated with the compatibilty issues the site seems to have with IE,(which is the only browser I can use.) and even recently noticed the little disclaimer/advice/??? on the version 2 profiles about downloading FF.. so why on earth have a trivia question that's nearly impossible to find for the average pc user who has FF?
Seems.. odd to me.. but anyways, I do wish those still looking the best of luck. I wish I could hint, but alas... I do not like cold places much.chuckles softly. cold... frozen... get it?falls over okay... that settles it, me needs sleep.
I know, even after all this Firefox vs. IE talk, I'm still worried about if I formatted my answer correctly or not too. Bah.
One word: Eep.
I agree with Aimee. Even if it is possible to find it using creative surfing techniques on other browsers, IE users had too large of an advantage. I searched for three hours on Opera and didn't find it; I got it within five minutes after I walked twenty minutes to the library to use IE on a public computer. I do enjoy a good, difficult trivia and I apologise for complaining, especially having found it, but that's a bit unfair to those who don't have the option of using IE.
That said, good luck to those who are still searching; I'm praying that my format was right. XD
I finally found it in IE, and then tried to find it in FF, to see if what other people were saying was true. And I couldn't find it in FF at all. That kinda makes it look like the people who use IE have a somewhat unfair advantage over the people who use FF.
Finally found it using IE!
I fail to see how it would be possible for someone to find it in firefox!
just keep trying you all will fide it im sure good luck no more post from the coyote
I personally don't think these kinds of questions should be allowed as of the major browser issues, especially for those on a mac. I mean yeah, I'm on a mac and was able to find it, but it was sheer luck that i even thought to try a technique that isn't something you ever even do generally when browsing.
And not to spam or anything, but I figured out the problem. false alarm.
Or not? I'm guessing subeta isn't supposed to be lacking all its CSS coding and stuff in IE. But that's how it shows for me.
(just when i view it in IE)
Well, looks like I'll be whipping out IE for the first time in about a year. XD
I've been looking all day long and haven't found it. I just know I'm going to feel really stupid when the answer is finally announced. Arg.
I have IE, and I can't find it. XD SO even if you have IE, it doesn't really matter. But I do understand. grumbles
takes a random guess meh, I probably got it wrong...ah well...another minion to have to save up for.
headdesk I don't like to whine, I really don't. But I'm upset that other people have an advantage just because of the browser they use. If people who use FF can still find it, but it takes them 4 times as long.... that's not cool. Some of us just don't have IE as an option. Oh well. I'll buy the minion. But please try not to have a question that gives a group of users a special edge on solving it.
Sorry to whine.
Well, I give up.
I have IE, and I still don't know if I'm right and completely guessed. I probably got it wrong. I really want that kitty, too. =|
I have IE and I still cant find the answer ![]()
I just can't find it...and I really wanted this one. sobs
Well, I finally caved and went to the library to use IE.
And... yeah, that was completely unfair to Opera/Firefox/Safari users.
I really hope my format was right.
After more than three hours of searching I finally found the answer, but only because I went and downloaded Internet Explorer.
after like 3 hours of looking, i finally found it!!!

I found it in BOTH Firefox and in IE--I am convinced you can use either browser to solve this.
I'm still not sure how to word the answer though...
Hmmm...
I found it, and answered it, but like many others, I wasn't sure how to word the answer.
I hope they are lenient with the wording :/
everyone that is discussing how to figure out the current trivia really needs to STOP!
Does anybody who got it right want to trade for any of the old trivia prizes? lol. I have a larree, folks.
j/k.
Yup, needed IE to find it... not exactly fair to users of other browsers IMHO. I usually use Firefox, good thing I read these comments before searching.
O_O twitch I... just... found it.... but I already gave up and guessed something else! sob
I think I found it... but now I'm confused about the format.... ugh
I knew this on the spot. 83!
Thank goodness I looked around Subeta during the summer otherwise I would've never gotten this one. x3x
I've spent hours on this now.
And I still don't even know if we're looking for a smiley or the punctuation that MAKES the smiley...! buries head in hands 'Guess I'll have to live without the awesome kitty.
This is driving me crazy. D= I want that Minion...
Agh....headache Forget it
This is frustrating, nrrr....I'll just buy it or something. X_X
The browser makes a difference? If you're serious, then I have to start over again. I've been looking for several hours now.
I don't know how that'll work, either. I have a mac and I use Opera, and I don't know if I'm really going to bother a friend to use her computer.
If all of this is true, I sincerely hope that they make an additional trivia so that it's fair for everyone. I suspect that the people put at a disadvantage make up a sizable portion of trivia-answering population.
I've switched to IE but it's giving me a headache, plus I still haven't found it... and now I'm wondering if changing the language it's displayed in affects what we're looking for... I mean, some symbols turn out a bit differently
If I don't find it soon I'll probably start wondering about different versions of IE sigh
I'm beginning to get really frustrated. I've searched the whole site two times now (unless there are hidden pages I'm not aware of) and I still can't seem to find it.
Some people are saying that it's hard to find the answer in Firefox, so maybe that's why I'm unable to find the answer.
Guess I'll try again in a hour or so...if the trivia is still here.
It's still the same question, and actually, I finally got it!
BlueGreenGreym you clicked on the stock market by mistake.
im not going to hint at all but this one was so easy for me took all of 2 min i mean it if you know it you know what i mean
no, it's still the same question... and I still haven't found the answer ![]()
I'm confused. I just got on and went to see the new Trivia, and only saw "Prepare for a mass freeze", so I came to check the News Post Comments to see what happened - wow, people - some mass hinting/discussing going on here. Not good at all.
2 minutes later, I go back to the Trivia and see an actual question posted. Now I don't know if it's a new one, or if the question was reworded, or what's actually going on, but it sounds like some people are going to get into a whole heap of trouble. ![]()
<img src=/images/smilies/smiley_xface.gif border=0><br />
whee. i knew this one easy. i was such a curious newbie when i first joined subeta that i searched all of the corners of subeta (well besides the other side of subeta which remains hidden xD) im surprised they'd have this trivia though........
thats all i shall say. anything else and i might be mistaken for hinting the answer....which I am not.
Goodluck to everyone who hasn't found it yet!
Ugh I miss the days when not every trivia took hours to figure out. ![]()
psh. stupid typo.
*they
anyways, due to the spacing after the :, I'm inclined to believe that they want you to find the smiley..thing ):
whatever the case, I guess I'll just end up buying the minion~
i agree with quoth
it doesn't make much sense
or maybe i'm just dumb
I don't understand if they're want you to find the
smiley thing or simply an x
either way, I've just about given up searching xD;;
not all of us have hours to search
they would make a cool prize for a stupidhard triva
makin me all complainy and emo
not like me at all...
oh well
True. There is a difference.
Sorry to say, but we are advised to use FireFox if we want to see our profiles correctly in version 2.
We are even given a link to download that browser.
However it would seem that this trivia demands the use of Internet Explorer.
So... which browser do you recomend I use to browse Subeta?!
