grunts I've got to stop checking this...its making me mad...wanders off mumbling about gems and quests
I could only do one out of the 10 quests I just tried, even after the change. Each item he wants seems to cost 40-80k now, and it's not worth it.
Not fair! They should have put them both up at the same time! Celesse doesn't give you anything!

with SAI i started with 5000 and now I am way over 100,000

Well his lowest reward's like...10k, highest I got was 90k.
So I usually get items worth around 20k~40k to minimize profit loss and maximize profit gain.
I got all excited when I saw this and went and did my quests, but I lost about 100k, and that was even when being selective about which quests to do.
Demand has pushed prices way up so it's still not worth it.
I didn't earn a lot. D;

Hmm. I don't want to seem whiney...but do the gypsy people get something (besides crystals) somewhere in there? I guess I'll wait and see, but it doesn't seem very fair. =X
Uhm, maybe I've just angered Jack because I'm not making a dime off these... Again, I'm losing 5x my reward by turning in the items rather than by selling them. Maybe that's what you're doing? Grabbing them from your vault without also checking prices?

Well, I think the powers that be overestimated the numbers of items we have stockpiled after the restock war. I'm doing the math (again) and I could make a killing if I sold the items I have put away but then I can't do the quests. I have several items which are suddenly selling for 95k+ and I'm tempted to stock my shop and let this be a plot for profit rather than for points which reminds me very much of that place I left for this very reason. As it stands, I "make" 60k for items which I could sell for 5x that amount.
I'm up 350k after those quests. Its all a matter of choosing which ones to do, and which to quit.

By theway: (before I'm mis-quoted) that was certainly not a judgement on everyone. Just an appeal for those feeling neglected right now to hang tight and see what happens. I'm as intrigued as the next person, and want to apologise if I seemed rude.
Is there ever going to be a plot without people complaining? It's great that the Cardale side have easier quests now, but the moaning just seems to have flipped from one side to another! Earlier on the Cardale's envied us, and now it seems that the gypsies are jealous of the sp. 
And the plot's only been running 1 day. C'mon guys - give it some time, eh? little smile It wouldn't really be a plot if they told us what everything was for, and where it was going. We'll find out what the gems do in good time. I'm sure there'll be some snotty oik who'll call me a suck-up but I don't care. It's just common decency to be grateful that Subeta staff come up with these plots at all, and try to fix things like the expensive quests. I'm not ashamed of being grateful.

I did the quests yesterday. Only got a request for 1 unbuyable item.But you can cancle and ask for new items. I like that! I came out around 347,500 ahead of what the items cost me..

ill agree with you on that Traveste, but i think it will even out soon. i think there going to have a turn in system for th gems to get money or something.
Man, I wish I had joined SAI... the gypsy side is seriously sucking.
i think that they will count for something, just like the gypse gems have to be for something. other wise how would it make any kind of sense?
Are these just another temporary quest, or are there scores or something? Be nice to know if doing quests that are a loss would be a good idea...

yes doing 18/30 so far did 3 or 4 and lost money on them .. just going to cancel out the rest .. not worth doing them .. guess I joined the wrong side
