Hmmm, just got up and was going to try my 30 quests...never reset.
I'm not to worried. It will all even out in the end. 
Yikes, I didn't read these comments until after I joined the gypsies (purely to stare at Celesse). I can't see any way that Subeta would make things so unfair, unless they plan to turn the tables next. My best guess would be that Cardale's side will be on the upside next, and we'll have our luck revoked. Good luck to both sides!

I'm going to suggest re: quests, adding in items containing the words dawn (sun is rising) gold (sun's colour) Yellow (ditto) fire (sun burns) Reborn (involves fire) burn (likewise) moon (reflects the sun's light) glow (is what the sun does) shine/shining (also what the sun does) and any other words you can think of that are sun related.
magic is fun but I belive in science ^^
even if them will get expensive gems or whatever...
Let's do the math: SAI, gets a quest where we have to buy as many as four nearly unbuyable items (if there are any buyable at all) vs Gypsies, who once an hour click a cave to obtain a gem which they can sell at nearly unbuyable prices. Even when the gems values drop, they're still free so I'm thinking it's clear who comes out ahead in this race. I don't necessarily expect equity (my spirit was broken by that other site and my expectations have dropped a result) but nothing prepared me for this.

Well, as it turns out, not every SAI quest needs a sun item, but most do ask for them. Sometimes several.
I dunnooo... I joined gypsies just because subeta always seemed more magical as apposed to tech-based to me(I didn't even read these boards 'till after I chose)... 
Plus, I don't get the complaint, gems will be worthless soon(with so many in existance)... so currently we do get A better benefit... but soon we wont get any notable benefit at all... see how that works out? We'll have invintory fodder soon and you guys will have... points? I'm not sure... but, mabey, just mabey the next step flip-flops what we're doing. Mabey you guys get freebies next and we get the crazy overly expensive quests?
It appears so, yes. At least one item is a "Sun" item for me so far.
I joined gypsy but as I think about things, I think SAI has the right plan. I think you guys will be the ones to come out on top in this event. Good luck!

we get to look in a cave every hour and find a gem... we don't get anything else just the gem... but they're soo perty! :*

There's no point in doing these Quests now...not with the ridiculous inflation...I think I'm going to wait a while for the items to deflate. The only reason I joined SAI is because I strongly believe in science and fact.

Hmmm, I already do 60-90 quests a day (wizard, Sag & Maleria, if I have time), I don't need 30 more without a reason for it. Hope a good reason is revealed or discovered soon or I probably won't do them.
Don't worry, fellow SAI helpers! We'll persevere! XD Surely picking the more difficult side must have some benefits!
So - guesses - what do you think the point of doing the quests is, if we don't get anything? Do you think we get credit for completed quests at the end of this, or something? Otherwise I'll just forget doing them.
I knew before joining SAI.
I could tell nearly everybody would swarm towards the Gyspsies side, and I don't like going with the majority.
Plus, I wouldn't want a bunch of soon-to-be worthless gems filling up my inventory.
That does seem like a ripoff--the gypsies getting gems and all. Do they get sP, too?

They are? I checked a few people who said they'd collected gems & didn't see them. Guess I must have missed that.
But what's the point of doing the quests? If the items are so expensive we don't get anything for doing quests, so I just wonder what the end result is supposed to be?
Actually, I knew when I joined SAI x) But it doesn't bother me all that much. If I really want them, I'll buy a couple gems. They won't be all that rare for too long, at this rate (:
I haven't figured out a price limit for these quests, like a certain limit for the Wizard, Sag, Maleria, etc., because I got back between 6K-40K for the few quests I did. What a difference. It might be worthwhile losing a few points if we get credit for doing them after the plot, but if we don't then it's a waste of points.

Jeez, those quests were expensive. DX I only got to do, like, three. XD; Oh well. I like Jack. He's cute. 
I'm curious - all of those who joined SAI, if you'd known all this, that we only get a few points for doing expensive quests while the others get lots of gems, would you still have joined SAI? I suspect nobody would have, probably.
I joined this one by mistake...I didnt even know what was going n when I signed in today so I just said hey whats this? =D and clicked 'join'

I'm not upset or complaining about the new plot, it's great that there's something new & exciting. Just confused as to why it's set up so wierd.
I definitely don't see the gems staying very expensive. The gems are just new, so everyone tries to get as much SP as they can before the price drops.

Hotaruset, I don't think any of the old images from the plot from way back are still around (man, that must have been... a year and a half ago? At least O.o), but the Jack Cardale Plushie is still around and I heart that one, too.

it doesnt seen so in SAI you get few points back from buying items. in the gypsys case you get free gems for 100k+ back and 24X100k=240000 Sp
