Finally I have been waiting for this. Its my favorite part of the site.
I joined Phoenix's side. About now I wish I'd stuck with it and been a more active restocker.... I can't remember the rarity of any items!
And I agree that this should have waited until server issues were ironed out. Several times I missed something because I got stuck at an eternal "Loading..." page right after I clicked on it. And many more times I didn't end up getting anything from a restock because the shop page just wouldn't load. Not to mention the "Critical Error" messages I'm getting ever few minutes.

I agree, Aimee. It's not just that it's impossible for me to get a high score on the restock war, it's the point that it's impossible for me to restock at all. Even cheap items that usually just sit in the shops are disappearing as fast as r99's.
Makes it hard to do much of anything on dialup. =/

blah i hate rs wars, fun for those with a fast connection, pretty well pointless for those with dial-up. And what a lousy time to have one with all the critical errors... bleh
I have a question about it though. Of course the top people get a really really nice prize, but how do the others work? Would we get a prize depending on how many points we get, or if we are only on the winning team, or both? Just curious. I know I won't be a top person, so wondering for the rest of us I suppose
gigapet: After you buy the item, you will get a note along with the standard "item has been added to your inventory" line that reads like: "you have earned 1 RS War point for ____."
There's not an easy way to tell if something is over rarity 45, other than if you're a regular rser. Things that you don't recognize as being a regular in the shops make it a pretty good bet that it's over 45.
how do you know when you are restocking if they are r45+ or not?
I'm excited to get to participate in one of these, but agree with the others on the timing of this. It's just going to make each one of those "there was a critical error" or "subeta.net" cannot be found that much more irritating.

I signed up for a team, although it's going to be difficult to RS anything with the way the site has been running for me lately. It takes forever for each page to load.

as long as its over r45 then you will get 1 point, it could be r90 and you will still get one point smiles

Anelau - there is more info on the actual RS wars page. Click the link to see - it says there you get points for R40 and up.... I wonder if it is more points for higher rarity tho....
