I LOVE it!! I've really been wanting, fairly badly, a fish pet, and the old Torrent was too ugly to create.

So, if the redraw went through I would have one in a second.

The only, little, tiny thing is that I really liked the idea of the light-stem thing off of the old torrent's head. It was--really cool. I would love to see it back. Ah, well, the new one is like--AMAZING!

-spasms into the middle of her bed- I //really// don't like spiders. You know like the little ones, so a 1lbs spider? Whoooo slooow that heart rate right down now. Yet another reason I'm happy my Birth Mother made the decision she did. Hahah keep me away from huge spiders -was born in Texas-...close uuuuuuugh I really have to stop this train of thought. Spiders -shudder-

-point-! I adore it!! Eee, it looks so pretty and graceful! And it looks like its swimming around like my beloved sucker-fishys do. Which makes me apeased on levels! Oh the levels. The only thing I have to add... is that I sure do hope those spots are going to change along with the different colors (Which I'm sure it is.) Eee I so totally adore this.

What happened to the light and the jewel with the old revamp?? The new Torrent...it looks good, but there's some points missing. I personally would like to see a gem on its forehead like the last re-vamp.

The fin isn't actually meant to be blue. It is meant to convey the illusion of a semi-transparent membrane. O.O And the current Torrent looks like a 2 dimensional, flat comic picture that my child colored. Absolutely no offense to whomever drew the original. But that is how things improve. You start basic, see what you can do and what the demand is like and improve upon it. The tail is very graceful and Koi-like, giving it the necessary point of floating/swimming in water. The fins remind me quite strongly of catfish, who have thick barbs on their fins. This fish's strong, shortened, muscular body definitely matches the fins and adds depth to the animal. The face was drawn to make it not so much like a drawing of a fish and more like a drawing of a Subetian creature with purpose and personality. I adore it, even though I have all the pets I want. She did a marvelous job..it is so creative and I would not want to do a thing to hurt her feelings. O.O

I just love the green eyes and blue fin. The old torrent was too... yellow. It had yellow, yellow, and more yellow.

Ooo, it's pretty now! I'm sort of in agreement that the head doesn't seem to incorporate smoothly with the rest of the body, though... maybe add just a couple more tiny orange freckly-splotches right at the front base of the dorsal fin, or something to that effect? But that's just a minor quibble, and I still plan to vote new. Gorgeous work!

I'm torn I think both are beautiful, fish=amazing XD I luff fishes. Hmm, I don't know. The old one definatly needed revamping, but there are some points I need to consider.

I luffed the light so much, and the torrent's transfixed eyes on it.
I also loved how the torrent always appeared so happy, and cheeky. The new one just appears to be...floating.

However, the new one is also amazing. It's beautifully drawn Arbor! I love the different contrasts in the orange and yellow shades, and the blue transparent fin is to die for xD And I agree, green eyes are so much better.

But what to choose? If the light came back, and the new torrent looked a bit more happy, I'd totally vote new without a flicker of doubt xD But right now I need to decide =/

Hmm... I sorta like the old remake of this over this one... The blue fin doesn't fit with the rest of the coloration. If it was gold or yellow it would fit. Only other thing I have to complain about is the eyes. They're too human looking.

Arbor.... you are the most awesome. I love the markings, the streamline body, the fabulous colouring/shading and the breath-taking fins... How will I resist creating one?

What ever happen to the first revamp? I had been waiting for that one forever... I like this one too but the koi look of the other one was awesome. On this one the only thing that catches my eye and bothers me is the pelvic fins, they look to thick :/

Huggles It is beautiful as it is! And I drove truck all over this country for over 29 years hun...so I know EXACTLY of which you speak!! Damn things get as big as dinner plates! Think THAT's bad? Wait til the road is literally covered with them, as they are doing some kind of whacked out, migration....thingy. O.O shudders at the memory I love spiders, but that is just....nasty.
