As I posted before, younger players (or anyone)CAN get real life help from any non Subeta player, teacher, parents, babysitter, relative, anyone who doesn't play Subeta; that isn't considered cheating. Cheating is posting on other websites and message boards asking others to just give you the answers. Asking a real life person to help you work something out or show you how to do something is different. Once again, there is no way to give "mystery prizes" (and I personaly wouldn't want to anyway). The person didn't actually mean to cheat; they just posted for the non Americans that a pocletbook is a purse... which was, unfortunately, part of the solution. I have no idea why none of my sites said pink rose; some of mine even said that the US and The Maldives both share the rose as their national flower. However I did run onto that long word in the language site. I chose not to disable the comments because I felt that it was better to respond to them. However, if people continue to spam and suggest "mystery prizes", etc., after I've already said that this cannot be done, I might be forced to disable them in future. And, check the times, the Trivia WAS up for over 24 hours, which is all that is required.

Well...I pay for the internet here (cable rox) and I have donated lots of real money too. But no matter what you gain on here, everything that goes in won't come back out. Going by that, I can see how buying a $30 donation present and then losing it in a glitch could cause some keyboard bashing. But why get your blood pressure up over lost time? I mean we all chose to be here in the first place? That's my outlook on it.

Mistygou, to reply to your comment thing, since most people on the site pay real money for subeta items...the game becomes their real life...it may still be on the computer..but once you start spending money on the site, then you get influenced irl from it...

Even though I did lose and seemed upset, I was hardly shaken on this side of my compy. I tend to exaggerate emotions but it's for the sake of humor. This is just a website that has virtual prizes afterall. If you are getting really upset IRL or feeling cheated out of something then please just take a step back and breathe. Even if you accumulate everything osught after here, you end up with nothing tangible. You did it for recreation and for fun. Frustration is one thing, but subeta should never cause you stress. Unless of course, you are an admin in charge of code. :p Then it's just an unfortunate part of your job description.

I know the trivias have been ending rather suddenly lately, and though I'm one of those who didn't have time to finish the last one in time, I have to agree with the standards. If a trivias up to long, the answer starts circulating and the prize becomes worthless. My proof for this is a new years trivia with the question: "Happy new years!" and the answer was "Subeta r0x" or something to that effect. For over a week only about 60 people had answered, then suddenly toward the end that number jumped up into the multiple hundreds. How, because people had time to work on it? Do you see anything there to "work on"? No, and the reason the number jumped was because the answer was leaked and spread around.
It isn't enjoyable to miss the opportunity to answer a trivia for whatever reason, but when that happens to me, what I look foreward to is answering the next one in hopes the prize as rare as the one I missed out on.

Come on, folks, doesn't anyone read the rules page when they get here? 0.o; It clearly states you can't give out answers to any of the games. I have to be realistic that I won't have all the answers and, if I want a prize badly enough, I'd best be willing to play a few games that I DO get for awhile to shell out the sP for a nice minion or item. That's just the way it works. I missed the lapillon and that just killed me...but oh well...better start saving up! ^^<br>
I was totally thinking I had the wrong answer...but I went for it anyway. When I think back on it, there were only three clues really necessary. And the "Pete" clue really gave away that it had to be a food item. (Although I DID waste a lot of time looking to see if sterling silver had a different chemical symbol...VERY dumb of me!)
However, I worked and worked from about 1 PM to almost 10 last night still trying to figure out what the "eerie glow" item was. That REALLY threw me off. lolz...
The only thing I'm bummed about, besides not trusting my unscrambling of the anagram, was that it was the first beautiful sunny day outside yesterday in a 22 straight day period of rain and I chose to sit here diddling with a trivia! >.< Silly me! ^^
Debilee, I did think it was a really clever question. I marvel at how you can think these up, truly I do.

Hm, all these subeta related "trivias" are giving me a headache. I haven't been able to answer a single one except this one, and I'm sure I'll get it wrong anyways. I'm not freaky obsessed with this site and know every nook and cranny about it. And the way these trivias go, you have to be.
And isn't this site for little kids too? How the heck are they suppose to answer chemistry questions without asking help from mum and dad, without people considering it cheating? Sorry. I don't consider help cheating. We're not all geniuses.

Ya'll are giving out answers again are ya???

Anyway - 24 hours is plenty of time to figure it out. School, work etc. We all have lives in the RL.

Second, blame the people giving out answers (or partia ones) on the boards. Not the staff for trying to keep things HONEST!!

And this one is trivia - Subeta related trivia. I haven't got ONE right yet, but I am not complaining.

Yeah, I checked the first five sites (just to make sure I got the flower right) on google and every one of them said "pink rose" along with the scientific name, so I thought the "pink rose" would be it's common name. Oh well, at least the prize isn't wasn't any kind of fox. I would be really sad since I like foxes.

To me, this one is the difficult one because I have NO CLUE where you would find information like this! The last trivia was fun for me. I, too, first came up with Pink Rose but saw that it didn't fit. So, I took out the Pink word and everything fell together!

The last one was pretty easy, for the most part. I couldn't figure out the subeta thing, though. The one with the eerie glow. DX

The other thing I was confused about was "pink rose" vs. "rose" vs. "extremely long name that I can't remember". I eliminateed hte long one, because I figured it wasn't the commonly used one. So. URHG.

And this one is gonna take me awhile. Argh. A year and 9 months on subeta and I don't know these. -shot'd- 0_o

I love this site, but man. I'm getting really irritated with how these are going. Those of us who actually work and go to school don't have a chance to do these before it's over.

Chalk up another lost minion to the frustrating trivia system.

ok enough people.. I got it right, and 24 hrs is plenty of time to work out a trivia ? there are other sites that dont even give you that much time..

So lets give all of them a break they work hard to have this site for us.. I dont agree with some of the stuff but it is my choice as yours to stay here and play.. If there werent cheaters, acct stealers cookie grabbers on all online play sites, would make for a better playing time.. but there is nothing that can be done about all that, so we have to live with it or dont play..

so KUDOS to all of the staff at Subeta.. good job

I agree the "pink rose" bit is debatable based on Debi's trials, but there are some of us who never even saw it was debatable because we used the -exact- words from the trivia ("national flower of The Maldives&quot and came up with with this number one site.

I'm a bit put-off because I spent so much time working the answer out with the wrong information, which contributed partly to my inability to solve it. It's not that big a deal though because I never submitted an answer, and I absolutely loved the creativity and trickyness of the trivia. I hope there are more like that, but next time less objectional.

Thanks for an much easier trivia! Not that the last one wasn't good - there just was NOT enough time to finish it. Again. Finger-crossed, this will be the first trivia in about a month I've been able/had time to do! Seeing the spectrabunnys selling for 5mil is enough to make me put my fist through the screen and cry...But I won't.

I say they should do secret prizes and whatever you get is whatever you get this is absolutly insane. Almost impossible for a solution to it as well. I feel for the staff that has also put in lots of time and effort to come up with a good trivia. I think no prizes should be no comment box for the trivia area. Just my thoughts. Anyway good luck to all.

Thanks for ruining things AGAIN by posting answers. People put a massive amount of work into these things - and because of cheaters and such we get NOTHING for sometimes hours of work. I don't blame the staff. That trivia was easily do-able - I just hadn't had time to get to "s" food items yet, and check the letters. weeps
As for this new one being easy - I've no idea. And the minion is pink...shudder

screams Not again! Why do I even bother to attempt trivias, when they're gone again, before I can get the answer!? I can't believe this one vanished in under 24hrs - It's getting so it just isn't worth trying. I spent 3hrs on it yesterday, and was determined to get it today.

vlokje2005 - I just want to say that I saw the post that gave away part of the answer last night but I still wasn't able to get the correct aswer for the Trivia because there are a lot of foods that have the word "Spectra" scrambled in their names. Arsenic-Laced Peanut Butter Cookie, Peanut Butter Sandwich and Peanut Butter Shake of Unexpected Death for example. So I don't think anybody really benefitted from it, I didn't anyway.

The Trivia script automatically awards the prizes from the previous Trivia when a new Trivia is added; there is no way to not give the posted prize even if we wanted to.

No, it won't be being used again, as I said before I had to re-use the other bunny because only eight total were won. This time I believe forty were won, which is more than both baby bunny Trivias together. This time wasn't a deliberate attempt to cheat but part of the answer was still posted. I have no clue if the person who posted it even entered the Trivia, much less won the prize. I did make sure that it was up for over 24 hours. The "pink rose" aspect is debatable; none of the five sites I went to to verify "rose" said "pink rose"... although one site did give it in the language; I was hoping no one would put that. I did say common, which generally means as basic as possible. And I did make it an easy one... I thought XD this time. Ummm, if there wasn't something other than potions and elixirs then I couldn't have asked the question.

I spent hours trying to figure out that glowing item, and figured I'd be able to solve it today. +sigh+

i also worked very hard but then the Trivia was gone and have noting, so don't complain if you got it right you have the spectrabunny!
i am not suggeting they should take it away from you!
The solution would obviously be to give out the spectrabunny again for an equally difficult Triva.

all these hassels with the trivia is actually taking the fun out of subeta and the trivia. For those of us who were working on it without cheating we miss out all over again cause of some one elses fault. How is this even fair. They still got the prize

And yes, I was still working on it. I decided to answer today, but it looks like I was 10 minutes late. If the trivia had ended 20 minutes later, I would have gotten in. Ah well. <3

about the last Trivia that was stopped earlier because of the possible cheating or publishing part of the solution.
Now people who saw that that part have this Spectrabunny as a reward as we who were still working on it without cheating have nothing!
Is this fair!!!
you should not have given out the Spectrabunny, because now it is extra difficult and expensive to come by.

Yeah, i think debilee might of gotten that part wrong, as technically, It's "pink rose" which is the common name.
But i still got it right so i'm not complaining :3
