I don't think it need be scary to children if you tell them it is just a picture and not to worry because the pet is on no pain. That he just wanted to look spooky.
Plus Subeta is rated PG-13 so parents should be monitoring what their children under 13 are doing on Subeta or anywhere else for that matter.

Holeh freak, this Kumos is sooo awesome! I totally <3 the decapitation!

really creative and I can't think of one thing I'd change about it...except...it probably would look just as cute if the head were on. It really has a shock effect that is for sure!

I love the idea, this totally wasn't what I was expecting on a GY Kumos. Decapitated.... laughs more
My only thing is to say there should be more detail on the exposed neck of the Kumos, like, where is its esophogus? I mean, I know Kumos don't have mouthes... but they do have a nose, they have to breath somewhere.

But, that's just me and my anal retentive anatomical self who wouldn't mind seeing all the frayed muscle fibers and the like...
But really, I love this, and its gorgeous, and hilarious as all.
