Token Shop and Morostide Update

What will you grab from this Token Shop restock?

FOR THOSE WONDERING ABOUT MOROSTIDE

Morostide will be starting this month, of course, but here are a few things to keep in mind. These points are mostly vague on purpose. Specific details will be released when we start the holiday!

🎃 There will be only one wave of trick or treat items. We will be bringing back old items, though! 🎃 You all will have to figure out the new way trick-or-treat items are distributed. ;) Generally, every few years, we like to switch the grouping of items up. Some of the methods in the past: number of pets a person has, taking your userid and doing module 6, month joined, number of letters in username, and I bet more I've forgotten! 🎃 Challengers will be returning! Get your battle pets ready. ;) 🎃 We will push the holiday past October 31 for max spooky vibes. We've started the holiday at various times of October, but unless an event issue/site was going down, the holiday would end on the 31st.

To reiterate: the above points are mostly vague on purpose. Specific details will be released when we start the holiday!

I can't remember, is the Random TOT on a different timer than regular TOT? Like with the Mystery Dances and Regular dances? If not, can it PLEASE BE??? :D

The old tot items really appeals to me as it means I can try and get the ones I'm missing for my Morostide Gallery . I am also happy that Morostide did not start today since I have a midterm tomorrow. Since it is running past the 31st of October I might attend my complex's Halloween Party as I was originally not going to attend due to Morostide occuring.

Those date goodies sound soooo yummy. Also yummy? Peanut butter date balls. A kind of Reece’s PB cup flavour with chopped dates mixed in, formed into balls and rolled in icing sugar. No bake, just refrigerate and the alternative is dipping them in melted chocolate and letting them cool. So good!!!

For anyone who may come later & needs to see the prices:

A few reminders about how this shop works:

  • there's a 12 hour cooldown for buying items from the Token Shop.
  • the top/first item for these kinds of News Posts is the new item & it tends to restock in a higher amount than returning items.
  • the Token Shop restocks MULTIPLE TIMES over the next day or so, so you'll have a chance to catch it restock next time! This is done so players in other time zones get a chance too. -The restocks are random, but there's a Forum Group that you can join that may help you catch the next one~

Pop-Up Zombie Storybook is needed for an achievement: Oooo So Scary! Traditional Ghost Sticker is needed for an achievement: Boo Is So Overrated

- The shake's base is largely a milk/ice cream blend. You could probably do whatever substitutions you'd like in there too! I think an average size has maybe a half cup of dates added to it. Never said it was remotely healthy! Lmao

It's super popular in Palm Springs, which is when I had one last. Just absolutely divine.

I'm absolutely going to need to make those cream cheese filled dates though.

- If you haven't tried it, I also highly recommend Date Milkshakes. Omg they are [I]decadent[/I]. Also ludicrously high in fiber, tbh. Don't try on the road. 👀

you mix cream cheese and powdered sugar together, cut the date open (but not in half), pipe in or spoon in your cream cheese mixture, close up the date and then roll it in the sugar. Pop them in the fridge for a bit if you want to firm them up before eating. Of course you have to keep them refrigerated. You can also put in a smoked almond to really amp up the wonderfulness of them. My grandmother used to make them for Christmas or whenever she felt it was party time.
