If we're changing an entire species, there will be a poll. We're good about that. But the old canis wasn't a canis. The paws were wrong, the nose was shaped wrong. The teeth were wrong.

I'm not trying to sound rude here, but when it's that off base, and we're trying to streamline, poll or no poll, the pet needed changing.

As for the attitude, this one to me looks like it started out having a nice day, and has had one too many things go wrong. It looks rather threatening to me.

This ones okay... but the old look pwned. I prefer the BR pets scary instead of cute... and if the old one was a rabbit... well this ones a bunny. XD

I agree with Dragon_Heart, there are many Bloodred pets that could really use some character. A lot have unique poses, while others (like the Demi) don't even have any blood on them.

..I quite like this.
But then, you can never really take my word for anything.
I'll go from loving something one moment to hating it the next. XD But, I like this Canis, even though.. I don't like Canis's.

Hmm.

I think it looks kinda podgy around the stomach and slightly hunched up. It also lost it's "evil" look and now just looks like a rabbit that's eaten some sort of minion and is trying to hide his tracks.

I liked the old one for how it was drawn, because it looked alot more evil and straight-backed. But the teeth on the old one weren't very Canis.

However, the new Bloodred Canis is alot cuter, the way it's lifting it's paw up like that is so innocent and sweet, I must say that I prefer the colouring and shading on this one to the old one, especially the blood on the lifted-up paw and right ear.

Overall I have to say I prefer the new one because of that innocent charm - it's just so cute.

Still, this is just my rather elongated opinion =3

:/ Even though I'm not much of a Canis fan, the old BR one was one of the better BR pets, it just needed to have it's buckteeth pulled, then it would've been perfect.

This one... D: I dunno... It's just... too cutesy. Doesn't look menacing enough. The BR Canis didn't really need a redraw, a few other BR pets do, though, like the Magnus. x__x; They look too plain and boring.

I agree with Dokuja on the fact that there should have been a poll. Rabbit-looking or not.

I like this one but it could be mistaken as red paint rather than blood, considering it's so cutesy.

I thought BR pets were meant to look dangerous or evil or.... I don't know, something along that line.

Aw...I rather liked the old one. :x It was the only good Canis besides Angelic and Graveyard, I thought. This one doesn't have the nice anatomy that the old one had, or the evil look. Glad I decided not to buy the elixir now. ^^;; -hides-

I think the old one would have looked well enough like a Canis if it weren't for the rabbit-teeth. >.>;

Ah, I'm a little surprised that this didn't warrant a poll - I know a lot of people were terribly fond of the old one.

Sorry for those who had it, but the old one just wasn't a canis, at all. It was a bloodred rabbit and bore no resemblance to the canis.

We're going for consistency.
