๐Ÿ”’ Authentication Fixes

If you've been having issues logging in for the last two weeks, I'm incredibly sorry. After making the change to the new authentication system, a (very large) handful of users could no longer access their account, and the new lost password flow didn't work correctly.

I've fixed the issue, so if you're still not able to log in, please make your way to kumos login page and start the lost password flow. You'll get an email, and be able to set a new password.

We've created a new free gift page that gives you a visit for the bath house days, updates your melody achievement and some CSC for the trouble. I know this doesn't give the prizes for those bath house / melody days, but we'll be making those items available (like always! we hate gateekeeping melody items!) soon.

I can hang with just about anything after being here for the last reset in the now ancient past. But I appreciate the gift and love how Subeta always does its best to do right by the users when stuff happens.

I claimed the gift because I saw confirmation that the gift was intended for everyone (claimed it on the 5th). My bathhouse did not reset and there's no button to take a dip for today

Theyโ€™ll have to answer a few questions to prove they are the account owner. Once thatโ€™s done they can change it to a more recent email.

I claimed the gift on the 5th (thank you!) and I'm also now having an issue with the bathhouse not resetting today. It added three days to my visit count since yesterday though. Others in the Bathhouse Reminder thread are reporting this issue as well.

I have a question, I claimed the free gift on 5th, and now on 6th there's no button to take a bathhouse dip. Bathhouse pools still empty. When will that button return?

Thanks for the CSC - doesnโ€™t quite give me back the 6 million sP I spent on the Melody items I missed, but Iโ€™ll take it. Guess I shouldโ€™ve waited but I was afraid the prices would go even higher with a lot of folks missing them. Dโ€™oh!

i'm a very new user relatively and not personally affected by the login issues (other than some issues logging in one day) but it's nice seeing all the work the team puts in already. glad it's fixed for everyone!

I'm really happy you were able to get it fixed!

I was one of several folks who was locked out of subeta & unable to reset my password.

I got locked out on New Year's Eve, and while I was a little bummed about missing the last Melody prize, I wasn't too torn up over it.

Honestly, I was more sad about losing my bathhouse streak-- but hey, now I have it back! :D And gosh, 500 csc, too... that's so kind of you!!! Thank you so much, I (and several other folks, I'm sure) deeply appreciate it <3

My partner is trying to sign in to the new site, it wants them to reset their PW but when they go to hit reset PW, it says an email sent but their email doesn't have anything. We're wondering if maybe the email on their account is outdated since it's been literal years since they made their account, but they can't log into the legacy site to change it or check. What should we do?

I had a similar error but then I realised I wasn't logged in on that site. Logging in fixed the issue.

Thanks! Communication could have been WAY better. A news post would be great because logged out you can still see that.

I know it's the holidays and thus not as many staff available, but it probably would have helped a lot to put some members minds at ease and lower the influx of messages staff got. Just something to consider in the future! But thanks again and I do appreciate it

I will say I was one of the people that has not been able to log in since the 23rd and found it very frustrating that support was not helpful at all, they responded one time telling me to delete cookies and cache and that it should work never responded again. With a glitch this large they should of known what the problem was and just been honest and told us you were working on it to fix it.
