Hi ! it's been awhile since the universal remote was stocked. over a year, looks like. Hoping we'll see a stock soon in the future :)

While that might indeed, in theory, be very nice, speaking as someone who has survived and muddled through many a site crash (and also being that this particular item evidently has a four-way use: Stats Booster, Book, Achievement, and, like myself, just plain collectible, plus is worth a small fortune in sP just for selling purposes alone, as well as costs a relatively low number of crystals per value), pretty much absolutely EVERYONE on the site can use one (or more). So it would most likely be an absolute nightmare were it to be released in that manner. Apparently the CW Pawn Shop opening was really bad, what with lag, errors, inaccessibility, etc.; I can only imagine the sort of site chaos this would most likely cause. Even with as much as I have been on recently, I missed all of the restocks; it's just sort of the luck of the draw as to who is on when, as it has always been.

I think since it's been over 24 hours now since the first release, they probably won't be stocking any more. Although I'm not 100% sure since I'm not staff, but usually they do a few restocks over the course of a day and that's about it.

Even if they made an announcement like "We're rleasing 150 remotes this year. We'll do a restock at 9am EST and 6pm EST". That would be helpful.

I'm a bit puzzled as to why this specifically would be better in the Forums? This is the sort of thing that is always posted in the News comments after any restock, be it Token Shop, Crystal Shop, or what have you. There are always the "I got it!" "Darn it! I missed it!" comments. The timestamps are actually quite helpful to tell when the item(s) actually stocked, and to alert Staff as to what might be good times to restock them.

Looks like I missed all the restocks (again)... European here (with a RL), been playing for 7 years by now, caught 69 items from the BHH so far but I have yet to SEE a single Remote in the Crystal Shop... By now I put that thing up right next to those private CWs on my WL that I know I will never get x.x /rant end, sorry....

omg i did this exact same thing when the shop first stocked. i was online the second the news post dropped so i hopped in immediately, saw the remote but went for the plushie, then saw the comments section & actually looked up what the remote was & did... Big Regret™️ 😅

20K a pop for a clicker would be no problem for some. 100 would be gone in under 1 minute. Stuffing them in the battle shop would lower the value. How many have nevr bought anything from there & just hoard their tokens. lol

Well I dont see me paying 70 mill, its crazy priced yet I will wait for more going for sale so the price goes down. I'm not going to keep refreshing for hours like I been doing or give up everything for 1 item I will wait I'm a patient person

Oh my GOSH! This is sort of hilarious in a screwed up way! XD I just did a quick account search for the remote, and it said "One found". And I said "nuh uh! I should know!" Then I read further... "READ to your pet Arielle"! WHAT?!?!? XD Awhile back, someone was leaving the site, I think, and gave me Arielle, so I had absolutely NO idea! XD DANGITALL! The ONE thing I've been after for well over a DECADE now, I think! XD *would be inclined to want to do bodily harm to someone if she hadn't been sort of adopted in as one of my own many years ago... * XD

I have been on here for almost twenty years and that darn remote has been on my Wish List ever since it first came out! I don't even want it to use; I just want one because I have one of almost every item of a certain Subetian vintage in my currently invisible Gallery. (I intend to transfer the items in it into a few separate Galleries when I get the chance/time. I can't believe that the only time it has even been available at all I missed it at least three times! (I'm generally only on from roughly 9:30/10 PM - 2:30AM, so I had no chance at all). Ah well. At least the battlers got some stat boosts. :) is friendly with multiple bigger battlers so can't kvetch TOO much XD

i don't even know if hoarding boosters counts as a way to cause problems for other battlers; there's no player vs player content so it's not like you could boost your pet a bunch just to win a fight with someone, and they haven't done a boss battle with tier-specific prizes in years p:

I remember when that was said. It was the only time I’ve EVER been able to RS a remote. In my opinion, the only way to screw up the battle community is if you’re hoarding remotes for stat boosting?

As a stat booster, the remote gives up to 22 of each stat, so it makes sense to keep it pricey but I feel like enough of them probably get used up between the various uses that it wouldn't hurt to release them differently and/or in slightly higher quantities at a time

i don't think it'd be a problem to have a lot go out through the crystal shop either (because most will be used and not sold) but unless something's changed since this 2019 restock (link), it's literally just "we don't want to stock that many, so you'll all just have to deal with it"

people have been arguing for years that releasing more won't screw up the booster market (you'd have to be a huge whale to raise a battle pet using mostly remotes), but we're at four years of this "here's 25 remotes" "there's 300 of us online, can we have more than 25 remotes" "no" dance, so... i don't anticipate changes :')

god, i wish. but they won't even put things that used to stock back into the battle shop, so adding new things seems like a fever dream. (especially this damn remote, which if i recall correctly, gets released in tiny amounts because... the battle admins don't want this thing to be easily accessible. lmao)

I agree with some comments and I’ve put on a suggestion as well. I think this should be better regulated. Release some, One per user cap and this way no one gets frustrated or upset. One per user until the restock a year later.

I'm one who is grateful for the lower crystal value. I'll try my hand at getting one I have never been able to get one, because I never have the high value of crystals to get one. Thank you for lowering the price. rubs hands together Now to focus....hehe

Ah, the usual "We can't spoil things for a tiny minority of users, so we will put this old, multi-use item into the Crystal Shop. However, we will only release it in tiny drips and good luck if you get one. Weren't lucky? Try again in 10 years, maybe you can finish your collection then!" I think that the Universal Remote would be a great candidate for the battle shop in exchange for impossible tokens. That would still make it a rare and expensive item while at the same time being something that can be worked toward instead of being so frustratingly luck based.

With as many uses as the remote has, stocking 10 at a time (even with multiple restocks throughout the day) feels kind of ridiculous. I got the stat booster achievement from it and I'm not at the point where I'm willing to spend ~70m on a single food but I can't ever catch a restock of it :/

Yeah they have restocked a couple more times since the initial one, but since there are so few of them you pretty much need to be looking at the page at exactly the right time to catch one.

It usually has multiple restocks, there's been I think 3 restocks thus far today (?), several hours between each! However, I've been refreshing the page every 5 minutes after missing the first and also missed the next two of the restocks so take that as you will on the availability of the remote lmao.

Yup, missed this last remote restock as well, because of course. I thought they used to stock for more crystals, 6k or 16k? If they are only 3k now, and only 10 at a time, that's just ridiculous. Why not stock 100 at a time and make them cost more crystals, 20k+, then they might at least last more than 30 seconds.

I've managed to get a couple of them before (not in this restock, but previous years). First one I used for the achievement (use the remote to stat boost your pet), second one I read to my pet. If I manage to get one this time I would feed it to my pet, and then I wouldn't really worry too much about getting them in the future.

It just depends what you want to do with it, but for people who have gourmand pets and pets that they read books to, you can easily need/want multiple copies (which are hard to get, hard enough to even get one).
