I'm also having the "You cannot collect this item right now" error, for Shadowglen Dove. I only have one Subeta tab open, I've done CTRL + F5, and have made several attempts, and no go. I'm on Chrome.

Is there any way to cancel these quests, because those of us dealing with the error are getting screwed out of catching any other birds until it's fixed.

Not sure. I use Google Chrome on my notebook. I've never tried to catch a bird on my phone. I can try it tomorrow.^-^

I had a similar problem. This works for me: Having only one window/tab of Subeta open, when I'm collecting the bird. When I had open more tabs in my browser, it gave me error "Oh No! You can not collect this item right now" every time.

I dunno if this is me being dense or not, but my bird just doesn't seem to be showing up at all? I've been clicking around a lot and nothing. I'm fairly sure it's not a "specific location" bird (it's a Gilt Woodpecker).

I just tried again; same error message. So I guess I just lose out on my bird for today. Any idea what's up with these error messages? "Oh no! You can not collect this item right now." At first I had thought that perhaps I had too many items in my Inventory, as I had had some of my snowballs out to throw, however, I had Vaulted all of those and am still getting the error message even up to right now. Thanks! :)

tries not to giggle at the quasi irony I have tried to pick up FOUR separate birds (without refreshing the page, even; actually the same bird four separate times), and have gotten that same error every single time! However, I got yesterday's just fine. I give up!

I have found out if I have previous bird in my minions it will not show up again!!! I have been looking for this bird and it was in my minions! Can they fix this! Now I have to take all my old birds out!

Aaaa! I'm so glad you two mentioned that-- I saw an INTENSELY blue bird ONE TIME while hiking as a kid and I've never know what it was! Now I'm pretty sure it was an indigo bunting. Right color, right size, right time of year for my area. Thanks for solving one of my life's mysteries. ^_^

This will be my first bird watching! I love to watch them in real life. Pigeons have the best struts imo 😂❤️ I usually find those in the form of mourning doves around here, but the pigeon strut is very real and very adorable.

They used to do it in spring, but it interfered with floating items during Vesnali which was why it was skipped for the past 2 years or so, before they decided to move it to winter when there aren't any floating items (since the snow fairies don't float anymore).

You can access quests from QUESTS To make access to quests easier there's a widget you can add to your sidebar, which you can access by going to Personal>Dashboard>Widgets and selecting the Quests widget. It'll give you direct links to the quests as well as let you know which ones you have or haven't done.

Access to the bird watching quest is here BIRDWATCHING Once you've accepted her quest the bird will appear at random around the site, unless they have a specific location name in their description in which case you'll have to go to that location. You will only be able to find one bird a day. Once you've found the bird, click on it and it'll be added to your inventory. Then just go back to Rosemary to complete the quest.

updating my last comment (apologies for the typos by the way, on mobile) to say that for some reason on my 6th try doing everything the same i was able to collect the dove! not sure what that means, but i'll take it. 😅

very excited for this as another bird lover, but i'm also getting an error; i've tried three times to grab a Shadowglen Dove, but all three times times the popup has worked strangely (it's loading the entire page within the popup, which may be counting as "refreshing" the page and causing the error) and given me a message that just says "Oh No! You can not collect this item right now." it also says i didn't find the bird on trying to return. hopefully everything smooths out soon, 'm really looking forward to being able to participate!

Yeah, I know! I'm saying I wondered why the indigo bunting on Subeta was so red lol Didn't realize there was a different type of bunting with that colouration. They're rare where I live but when we see them we feel so blessed, those l'il blue fellas <3

they’re like eastern bluebirds and blue jays - bright, brilliant, pure blue. You cannot miss the males as they fly by even though they’re so small.

One summer a couple of years ago, I decided to follow a warbler migration to Ohio bc I like birdwatching, but anyway I got a second degree sunburn aha :^) Was well worth it bc warblers are neato.
