Eeee~ Yes! Gawds this is such a great tribute pet! Tama was such a beautiful cat and I'm sad that money constraints prevented me from visiting her and the rest of Japan :'(

Congrats Jessi, on the win on my first trip to Japan I got outvoted for something I wanted to do which was visit this station because the others wanted to shop in Tokyo. I wanted to go see Tama the Calico cat as that was more interesting to me.

I saw the name and the image and I knew right away. I knew about Tama being the station Master , but I didn't know about how that came to be. I'm so glad there's a pet dedicated to Tama.

Ahhh I'm so happy! I love seeing so many people that know about Tama in thr comments.

- Tama's Station was literally my favorite part of my trip to Japan (even more than seeing whale sharks in Osaka)! I cried so hard when she died. It was so lovely to see the station and meet Nitama and to honor Tama at her shrine.

i started tearing up before even clicking to her profile, but this is such a truly beautiful tribute. ;u; i have a LOT of feelings about Tama, and you did such a wonderful job of honouring her and highlighting many points of interest, beautiful sights, and wonderful foods in the prefecture she saved, working hard as stationmaster and capturing the hearts of millions. <3
