They are a limited pet so you will need an elixir to change them. Dawn Darkonite Elixir seems to be one of the cheaper ones right now.

I love pets that in a specific colour manage to, for the lack of a better descriptor, "subvert expectations" of what you would expect of the colour.

imo, this Darkonite fits the category as far as Sweetheart pets are concerned.
