Glacier Tigrean Revamp!

The glacier tigrean has a frosty new coat and some sharp new claws, all the better to drag you off to their ice lair with, where they will have you for dinner. Dessert too, if you're polite and tell them how nice dinner was.

well that was a shitpost without anything else. i like his fluffy fur paired with that face, i'm a big fan of new revamps staying loyal to the original poses and expressions! i like the old one too for many reasons, it's cute and has a vibe and face sort of impossible to capture without the broader lines used back when it was drawn. this new guy is gorgeous

Realizing now how snippy the last couple lines sound, sorry. I mean it's how i feel and I'm sad about this update, but that doesn't take from someone taking the time and work to draw this, so.

...not happy about with this revamp, the original was much more sharp and fierce. going to have to figure out how to do the overlay. anyone know where that info is? The original was so much better :( sorry, artist, you can see you have skill, but this just doesn't work for this.

the limpness of the back half is actually quite good. it looks so smooth and soft...my cat was a similar pose to this on my bed yesterday, just a long, limp puddle at the base of my pillow.

I love the beauty but I have to agree with The back end needs to fill out that tucked tummy line. Looks more like my boxer than a kitty. If somehow a little weight could be added on to that tucked waist this kitty would purrrfect

I like this a lot, but there's something slightly off I can't quite place? I'm not sure what it is. It might be anatomical. I don't think I'm a fan of the ear shape change and the removal of the tuft of hair, but the changed markings, tail tip, nose/mouth, and toes are all very good!

It's a sorely needed update, though. I do feel the old one suited my glacier tigrean, Medic, better so I guess I probably won't be redoing his overlay...

love the face, not so much the anatomy (he kinda has a canine rib cage+feline placement of legs, so the result is too much volume on the front and nothing on the middle/back)

i really liked the slightly juvenile look of the original art- juvenile as in, the animal looks young, not the art itself is juvenile!! et tu was gonna be one; she still will be, i just liked how the glacier tigrean looked way too young for the irritated look to be read as anything but trying way too hard.

this is splendid!! i love the paws, the lil hints of claws on that right paw there, and the pouty look will work too!! though as i type this, i recognize what i'm missing- the lil tuft of hair on top!! still super cute, though
