i'm kinda losing my mind from the idea of cutting off my arm or foot to replace it with some fancy expensive cw, like that sounds more outrageously rich than anything saggi ever pulled lmao

but i'm never gonna use that because i don't like white bgs. idk why they can't just give you an ability to replace your actual base / remove it entirely atp

I totally understand that. I'd rather wait until they finished what they've already started as there are so many unfinished projects already. But I think the HA system is in need of a good revamp.

I think the things y'all are requesting would require a rework of how the entire avatar system works from the ground up.

Like the idea of just cutting off the avatar's toes for whatever reason. It's been kind of hard to make amputee avs in the past so I genuinely appreciate these but forever laughing about cutting off the toes.

I am somewhat excited about these items but also a bit disappointed. I use Custom CSS with a dark BG so it wouldn't look right for me and those who use it as well. Also disappointing that it would still not look right on HAs with backgrounds. I agree with on this one. And while i am excited for these items it would be sooo much better to be able to have the option to make them totally transparent. It would be nice to be able to remove the base in wardrobe altogether as well without having to use Vanishing Cream. Maybe in the future.

I know, it's just....eh. Like the original whiteout item is solid white, so if I want to have a background on my avatar I can't use it. Same thing goes for these because they are solid white blobs, I already did some testing in the wardrobe with my current HA. Sucks because I like the idea of being able to 'erase' certain parts of your avatar but it just doesn't work well in the case of existing items.

sadly i dont think that's possible ): i'd love it we could erase avatar parts too, but with how body mods use excess fabric to hide the avatar i think it might be a technical limitation. with you on it though, it'd be rad for it to truly erase the avatar, since i rarely use backgrounds

I don't believe that's possible with how HAs work, they don't modify the actual avatar base. The Whiteout and Vanishing Cream both are actually solid white, too.

I appreciate these and trying to stay close to the original whiteout item but honestly they would be 100% better if they were see through or generally erased that part of the avatar instead of replacing it with a white blob. Makes it a bit useless if you want a background with your avatar, like the original whiteout item ):

I'm a little bothered about the still showing part of the avatar's thumb, but I suppose that part of the HA is very hard to "whiteout" without unfortunate side-effects when it comes to layering.
