You may have noticed that the forums and wardrobe (and possibly other things) aren't loading or working correctly right now. Staff are aware of this and will fix the problems as soon as we can!

I'll be celebrating Friendsmasukah on Sunday. Some of us celebrate Christmas, some Hannukah, some Yule, some nothing, lol. But we're getting together to eat ourselves stupid and probably play Cards Against Humanity.
When are the forums coming back? :c I was wanting to lurk but half the site is hanging in limbo.
I'm looking forward to paying off some bills and not being so broke all the time...hopefully. Working Christmas Day and getting double time for it will help. As will my tax refund coming in April. Maybe I'll be able to afford some csc.
Nobody should ever be above criticism. If someone's doing a shit job, you call'em out on it and tell'em to do better, because you know, and they know they're better than what they're currently doing. They want to keep this site alive, they better start prioritzin' what really matters to keep this site functioning so we don't lose more people who get fed up with all the site's hiccups and problems. We are their consumers (customers if you put money into the site especially), we expect better effort than what we've currently been getting.
This isn't the first time users and staff have had scuffles, and it won't be the last. We got through the last one some years ago, we can get through this again.

I don't really celebrate the holidays* so other than getting annoyed over the horrible holiday music this month is the same as the others.
*I do get the kitties and dog presents. I don't know if they celebrate or not. lol Besides the stores come out with nice items for pets this time f the year.

I'm currently trying not to burn my mouth on the molten insides of a microwaved mince pie, so I'm not too bad. I'll be spending Christmas with my boyfriend's family and there won't be nearly enough alcohol for my liking, so eh.

Thanks for letting us know about the glitches and whatnot. Can't seem to open the forums at all. Tried various things, and even tried checking on a friend's laptop. Nope... still not opening. The loading icon just keeps wriggling but the posts don't come up. Will try again later.
I'm a bit sad because I missed yesterday's Melody gifts... I was really trying to get the whole month of coming on and collecting... but once more I will not get the prizes nor the achievements :( You'd think in the 10 years I've been here I would have gotten it at least once! Ah well... at least I can try for other days :)

I will be working Christmas Day and Christmas Eve day, as usual. However, it is looking like my friends and I will be meeting up the evening of Christmas eve for possible good food and company.
this is gonna be kinda depressing tbh. We've moved recently and well. It's not gonna be much of one. But, at least this year I'm trying to collect the ornaments I want for my tree on here!

My kids faces when they open their gifts. It's been a rough year and my Mental health is at an all time low so I'm throwing my all into making sure they at least have a good Christmas and we make some happy memories to get through the rough times. Also it's my birthday tomorrow so I'm a year closer to death
So far my December's being pretty good! I passed two of my finals with flying colors&probably failed the last one, but it's ok because I get to try again next year! Though I did want to go out for a walk today and get some work done, but it's raining heavily, and I think it'll turn into a thunderstorm later today... oh well, there's always tomorrow!
My plans for the December holidays are to... meet up with friends that I haven't seen in a long time! And celebrate the holidays with my family. ^^ I'm going on a trip to the North of my country with my family next month, and that'll be fun. :'D I'm looking forward to seeing my friends and having more time to animate stuff for myself!

Well, that's some good news! Yuletide is shaping up to be good this year. Got the rose water distilled, made the marzipan last week, and we're making stollen today. Good thing I changed my outfit to something I intended to wear for quite a while, when the wardrobe was still working :D My plans: get a first version of my Master's thesis (100 pages and I'm 1/5th done) until Christmas, so my relatives stop nagging... and somehow get those chocolates (self-made "Niederegger" pralines that I want to gift my friends with) done next week, now that I've got the recipe '^^

Excuse me? The site hasn't work for almost 12 hours of each day since the start of Lumi. Unfortunately for me those are the main hours my life allows me to play...
I was supposed to go for an outing today; however, I'm dealing with a muscular cold so I opted to stay. I managed to make soup :) I had planned on helping more on my Empty Tree Gifters; however, quests are working so I'm doing those instead ;)
btw when you say "and possibly other things" might not be working correctly either... does anyone know if sending giftboxes works properly? I'm planning on sending something kind of expensive I don't want it to get lost because of a glitch.. if I'm not sure I might wait until things are a bit more stable

My December? I work retail. I think that's enough of an explanation as to how it's going x) Don't really have any special holiday plans. My gift shopping is just about done at least. This month has been so crazy and it's dragging so slowly that I'm honestly looking forward to it being over.

December is so rainy, which is annoying, because I could use some sun. Also, my senior thesis is due next wednesday and it's still about 75% done, so yeah, pretty much freaking out at this point. I managed to write 30+ pages in the last 4 days, so maybe this can still work out lol
So yeah, shitty month so far. I would wish it would end, but in january Brazil will have a disgusting president, so maybe it's better to enjoy this holiday season.
I plan to visit friends and family in my home state of California (I currently live in freezing New York)

My December is going okay. Got most of the presents bought, just need a few for my roommate and mother in law.
My tree is up but not fully decorated. Trying my hand at homemade ornaments this year.
Other than that, I'm just surviving day by day.
Christmas isn't really celebrated where I live so it's sadly just a normal time for me. :c
- Sure, she loves the paper bags (and yeah, I do that too)... but it's always nice to get her edible treats too :)
