Morty has found a new use for those old useless Morty Cards laying around. If you redeem it, he'll give you 5 cash shop credits for the next 5 quests you complete. That's 25CSC for something you're probably already doing!
Morty has also printed a fresh batch of cards and has given them out to his favorite quest givers to give out as a rare prize.
We've reset quests for all users, happy questing!
That makes me a little more reassured! c: I saw cards going for 2mil in shop search (now they're up to 4mil) and people posting so I definitely assumed they were given out more frequently.
(yes I'm a grumpy Grinch and hate change even if for the better lol happy lumi everyone :'D)

This is pretty awesome, as someone who already does all their quest everyday, anyway. Just wish I had finished them last night before the quest reset! ;;
I can almost promise that this item isn't going to effect the price of CSC. It requires action (completing 5 quests), will quickly deplete as people use them over the next month and are given out very rarely from quests.
In addition we just had the black friday sale, and we're close to putting out the pawn shop for CWs, both of which use up a lot of "on hand" CSC that users collect over the year.
Does this mean the Pawn Shop is coming? Since we're getting CSC? hides
- I noticed that the cards weren't disappearing. I had three in my inventory and was able to put them in my vault one by one and there are three in there now. I was going to send a ticket in when the lag stopped and then I saw your post where you said you're going to remove them I just thought it best to let you know that mine are in my vault, not my inventory in case it makes a difference.
LOL I deleted the ones that didn't go away. But that's fine, I just didn't want to take advantage of anything. Glad it's all fixed now.

oh cool, I had two in my hoard of items- I mean, my vault. =) Guess there's a silver lining to needlessly holding onto things!
So, already 100 csc has deflated to 8mil then if one morty card is going for 2mil (2mil = 25 csc so 8mil = 100 csc)? Not sure that I like something permanent like this and what it will do to the value of csc. I mean it's been creeping up from 3mil to over 11mil over the years but sp earnings have been increasing as well, I think? I think someone with a more economic minded brain should comment more on this but yeah those are just my quick two cent musings.
At first it was a little confusing but now I understand how this works.

For those of you who used the cards and they didn't go away - that was my fault, they're being removed now. Don't worry about deleting or making a ticket.
if you have a card in your inventory and redeem it, it is not deleted. I've tried. Had 3 in my inventory, used one - still 3 in my inventory (and no I have not gotten any new ones from quest)
Are the cards supposed to not disappear when they are used? Infinite uses seems odd.
seems to be glitch that the cards arent being removed after being used
hey people who are complaining that you didn't get to buy the cards in shops guess what??? you can get them for FREE just by questing!!! let's be grateful for this really generous update that the staff has rolled out for us and not complain for once, ok? happy holidays friends

Well, there goes that. I'm happy if I can load the site at all for my quests, trying to snatch a card before they hit the millions - impossible. Congrats to all that managed to get some.
Several questions come to mind:

You can keep redeeming them, but they don't stack. You'll have to do 5 quests, redeem, 5 quests, redeem, etc. So it should equalize to being worth ~25csc.

So can you redeem more than one each day and get more csc each quest set you do? Like I redeem one and get 25csc, redeem another and do 5 more quests, do I still get the csc or is it only one card a day?

I was mindlessly questing and wasn't paying attention to my rewards until the site came back and I saw the quests reset. Then I noticed the bonus expiration alerts and extra csc... Confused the heck out me until I saw the news.

I've been here for maybe 10 years and this is the first time i've ever heard about these cards lol
There weren't that many in user shops, there are a ton in vaults from users who got them years ago, those will likely end up in user shops (or being used ??♂️) but either way they're being given at as rare quest rewards as well.
The one person with 200+ is a legacy shop so they had them before :) don’t know about any others that pop up but that shop is a legacy shop
Did someone auto buy the cards? like, legit, i saw more than 300 for sale on only one shop and it went all away in a matter of seconds? or is this just how it works?
I feel like I used to have some and got rid of them by recycling or something? Oh well
