The Skedhu

You're at Medicontra, picking up Ian’s prescription for him; Part of you feels that he might be exploiting your good nature, but you choose to give him the benefit of the doubt.

The pharmacist said that it would be ready in about 15 minutes, so you are killing time, absently perusing the aisles, when you come across a selection of greeting cards and magazines. You think of the Dungarde, alone in the crypt - would it like something to read? Can it read? And on another note that strikes you as hilariously absurdist, what kind of thing would a deathless guardian creature like to read?

You gather a selection of magazines for a wide range of interests; In the stack, you have fashion, cars, outdoorsman, cooking, and even a bridal magazine. You top the pile with a monthly anthology of short stories just as Ian's name is called for pickup.

Time to go back to Skelly Manor!

I skipped it and still got the day 4 achievement and a plushie. I'm not sure if there's additional prizes if you do the puzzle. The SKIP pop-up said I won't be able to go back to the puzzle; didn't say anything about missing out on achievements/prizes. Maybe it depends on the day (?) I wish I had a solid answer for you!

Yes, Jaxon is, but Connor isn't. And Skelly blood runs through his body. And from what I understand the guardian can't be set free until the bloodline has died out. But I hope I'm wrong.

All I'm envisioning now is the Dungarde deciding to stick around so it can be a wedding planner. I don't plan to get married, Dungarde, but I'll pay you to plan out a delightfully creepy wedding anyway!

I'm getting a rather ominous feeling about all this now. squints at Subeta

of course it's gonna end badly. But Jaxon is already dead.

I also use Chrome it sounds like a Flash permissions thing. You may need to click the lock or symbol to the left of any Subeta URL and it will open out a small box with Site Settings as one of the three choices. Scroll down to Flash permissions. For Neopets I have Flash as always on, but for Subeta choosing Ask worksmost of the time. Try changing it to always on, or change it to Ask if you like to shut Flash down entirely (and who would blame you).

Oh please Subeta let us be able to do all the puzzles by the end of the event! excited I'm glad there's an option for people to skip them though if people aren't too keen on them. Not everyone's a puzzle-enthusiast! But personally I'm having so much fun on them. :'D I grew up with Zelda as my childhood, so puzzles like these always have a sense of nostalgia and fun to me! Delightful! Bless whichever one of you staff member(s) came up with these, they're great! :'D

Plot-Related Shenanigans On another note, I don't trust this Dungarde one bit. Are they possibly hinting that Jaxon might not have such a savory past? It sounds like they might end up being antagonistic to Jaxon in some way, especially if they're warning us that Ian might not do the "right thing." And the whole Skedhu/mirror shenanigans - that it reflects the heart - so good will come of good, and bad will come of bad? Yeah... I'm sensing that things are maybe going to go downhill from here, oh dear! Very curious to see what will happen though!

It's the second board I'm stuck on. "Failing" doesn't take me back to the first board. I've tried every iteration I can think of (it's not a difficult board, I'm not trying anything obtuse). I've tried using the solution in the spoilers. Nothing.

your solution might not be one of the ones the puzzle setters thought of? If you fail at any board it starts you over and you have to create five more lines without mistake. If it's giving you the same board it may be setting you the exact same puzzle five times? In that case, keep on keeping on. Try one of the solutions given in the spoiler thread in the Morostide forum

you are welcome.

I can't get past the second stage of Thomasin's puzzle. I link it all together and the skull lights up but when I click check, it just gives me the same board again no matter how many times I do it.

there are some black circles on the map with extremely low contrast to the rest of the puzzle. You can't make a path through them, you have to go around.

I found it helped to make the game screen as big as possible and even then I had to memorize certain boards. And yes, you need to start over to make five paths if you fail, so you will get the chance to memorize where those doddrodded black circles are.
