A Letter From Skelly Manor

A very formal looking envelope arrives at your door. It is made of thick, hand-folded parchment and sealed with wax. As you carefully open the envelope, you notice the wax seal is emblazoned with an ornate pumpkin motif.

Dear Sir or Madam,

It is the formal request of Lord Jaxon Skelly and Master Ian Asmodeus that you attend at Skelly Manor as early as is convenient. Your assistance is requested and appreciated for a complicated matter of some privacy and delicacy. Sturdy, waterproof footwear is suggested.

Yours Faithfully, Lord Jaxon Skelly

You make plans to visit Skelly Manor as soon as possible.

you apparently missed the dialogue? Or you missed the rather tiny square above all the boxen in the second room of the basement? If you missed that dialogue I dunno if there's a way back to that.

In any case your next step is to find the entrance to the woods on the Shadowglen map, or to go back to Skelly Manor via the link at the bottom to see if you can get back to the basement. Try them both. The entrance to the woods is not really visible on my monitor/color choice/brightness, but it's in the lower leftiness of what looks forest-y but to the right of the patch and above the Element Mage.

Still cannot progress....

Is anyone else having trouble with the puzzle? I am using a table and no matter what I do nothing happens when I tap the second gage... even when I know it's in the green....

I noticed that if you just tap the gauge on mobile there’s a delay until it stops, but if you tap and hold, then release when it’s over the green, it gets rid of the lag. That’s what worked for me at least (using chrome on an iphone)

AHHH I didn't see all the rooms and now I can't anymore!! :( I went to the dining room and the kitchen and then to the basement and the plot started for me and now when I click enter it brings me back to the Shadowglen map X_X

Not to double-post, but: I managed to do the gauge puzzle on mobile! iPhone 6s, iOS 11. The second and third gauges were finicky on whether they’d actually be clickable or not, however. I had to restart a few times to get it functional.

It took a few tries because I had to tap the gauge early to stop it- tapping as soon as it passed over the green stopped it too late, but tapping just before it hits the green gets it to stop on the green. idk if that’s a mobile thing or just part of the game, though, haha.

(just letting you know about this) I couldn't get past the second gauge on my mobile (Huawei P20 Pro, Android) and I could only skip or restart the puzzle, but it worked fine on my laptop and I could finish the puzzle without any trouble. :|

SOLUTION

All you need to do is go to the Explore map, go back to Shadowglen and then click on "Head into the Woods" again. Ian will be there with some dialogue and you can end the day. ^_^

Is the gauge puzzle possible on mobile or ipad at all? When I click it it gives me the option to skip or restart but doesn’t stop moving. My laptop is being worked on for the rest of the month so i’m hoping I can still participate ?

Had the same problem as with the dials moving on past the third. Also, defeated the challenger like 10 times and cant figure out how to bounce back into the lot to finish the day?
