Batista is a confident and charming stall holder over on the Delphi Carnival Pier, always beaming and willing to start up a fast-paced (and often one-sided) conversation. If you get pulled in, you might find you're all of a sudden in the middle of one of his ploys and you're not quite sure how but you're parting with your money and all the while with a smile on your face.

He's all ruse and it doesn't seem as if anything could shake his confidence. But there is one thing that truly wipes the smile from his face, and if you can find it and unlock Batista as a challenger be prepared for the trickiest battle you could face!

Sorry if this was asked already....but If Gunter is gone...how do you unlock him as a challenger...I thought they could be unlocked at any point? or was it ONLY that month? thanks!

I think it may be the actual item called 13th Cat rather than thirteen cats in your inventory :P

Solution Spoilers

Well, I had a theory about having any sort of "unlucky" item in your inventory and winning. But I won a game with the Unlucky Zooky Paw in my inventory and didn't unlock him.

So maybe it is only the 13th Cat that works.

It makes sense now why he's the challenger though, even if he doesn't fit the monthly theme. Because of Friday the 13th this month. :P

I added the 13th cat, put the base eyes underneath, had a sad face, and added the emo raincloud (i figured extra sad?? idk) and got'em.

i'm guessing it's the cat if didn't get it with the base eyes alone.

Per 's advice: I put the eyes layer below my base layer and had the other facial features + hair above the base layer. I also put a 13th Cat in my inventory just in case :P Then I played Bluff and won. I'm guessing it has to be one of those two.

Did you win multiple times in a row or anything, or was that the first time?

I'm trying to think of something it could be, because I feel like it wouldn't be just random for winning. Considering one of the prizes is loaded dice, maybe he cheats and so winning multiple times would confuse him as to how you're beating his cheating ways. IDK though
