Scootle Rainbow!

Well, you certainly have been busy! So many new scootles have bonded with Nature Hikers, it really does appear that they’re ready to be our pets! I’ve also been very successful with the potion testing. Behold, a scootle rainbow:

I’ve enlisted some help in getting elixirs made for the scootle, but for now the only way to adopt one will be to “unlock” the pet by bonding with it in the Nature Hike. Once you’ve bonded the first time, however, it seems that future scootles will immediately choose to come home with you, if you wish. I suppose they must pass the message on to their friends that you’re a good owner!

Oh, one more thing: it appears that wild scootles are genderless - but they do not keep this trait if they are changed into another species. How interesting! I can’t wait for the Subetapedia article!

Exactly! I couldn't wait and risk losing Slugger's name, but now I have to wait even longer for those elixirs! I already know I want the gold one, since I have a golden mystery snail at home.

Same here. I grabbed Skiddles early on so I could have the name and didn't know you could bond beforehand.

Choosing a color for her will be hard though! Even just the base colors for this thing are amazing! I can only imagine what the specials will look like.

This one time, I found a snail on a log near some mushrooms, and I thought maybe it ate mushrooms, so I picked bits off and put it right in front of its face (or what passes for a snail's face), and he ATE THE MUSHROOM.

He took tiny bites and I could see the little mushroom bits going up through his transparent head.

I just brought home my Scootle Bulletproof ❤ Now to decide on the color, although I may keep her* common because yellow is my favorite color!

*I'm keeping her genderless but using she/her pronouns for her ❤

She's going to be a special pet for me, because a few hours ago, my mom and I had to put our old bloodhound to sleep after many years together... and her name was Scooter. Bulletproof isn't going to be an out and out memorial pet since Topper is kind of a memorial for all my doggos, but her profile will be something about resilience and keeping on through tough times, hence her name :)

Love all these colors! So many pretty color combinations to choose from! I decided on Dusk as a temporary color for my Scootle. Hoping to see some special colors down the road!

Aqua, Cream, and Vibrant are definitely my favorites. I wish that Silver and Twilight were a bit more distinct from each other (a lighter-colored shell on Silver maybe?), but overall they all look great. :D

You have to visit the Nature Hike and click on the Scootle image 3 days in a row (progressing through the different stages in the hike), and then on the 4th day it will be in the last section with the adopt option when you click on it.

I knew the vibrant one was going to look cool. I don't really like the vibrant colour scheme but I just knew it was going to do good things for the scootle.

welp, here goes my wallet! MC pet slot , bought! i was hoping a marsh one would exist soon, wish granted! i've been waiting for 3 years for the perfect pet for a The Neverending Story tribute (my son's name is Bastien) and this is it! if anyone remember, there was a racing snail and it was soooo adorable :O scootle is perf for it!! "Your pet has changed into a Marsh Scootle!"

The antennae and the flower on the Dusk Scootle look wrong. Is that orange really an accent color for that petcolor?

After buying the MC pet slot, and the potion, I now have just barely enough sP left to do Saggi quests tomorrow.

I thought one had bonded with me (as I have been trying since their discovery) ... it stated that it would follow me home today, but alas ... she sighs it did not appear in my Pet Home with my other Pets ... I hope one shall ....
