Hello Liebchens!

Much is changing here at ze brewery. It seems that October is a very busy time und I am not getting ze customer numbers I wud enjoy. Everyone is only caring about pirates und spooks! Ze real time to enjoy a cool crisp beer und a delicious vegan hot dog is in ze summer. So I’m moving! Alegarten will be back with new items next summer when I can have all ze attention for myself. I had excellent fun at ze food festival this year und I think that’s ze kind of crowd I’m looking for in ze future. Plus, Oatmeal loves to kick up ze summer dust und have his chin scratched in ze sunshine!

For one last time in October though, I’ll be opening my Food Haus, Geschenkboutique und Gute Ale shop, which will be staying open with unlimited stock until 11:59pm on October 6th. You can find all of my monthly brews in ze Gute Ale shop, too, from my leftover stock. Ze price is a little higher now for those who didn’t join my Selbstgebraute, you understand! Speaking of ze home brew club, I am unfortunately bringing that to an end, too. It was very fun for me but I have so many ideas for ze summer that I want to put my full efforts into that!

I can guarantee people would've whined WAY more if it was keelhauliday getting moved and having no new items rather than this holiday.

I'm happy about this change. :) There's so much going on from now until the end of the year so it makes sense to just have a food truck or whatever during the summer. Also kind of glad the club is ending... I signed up for it but I stopped being interested in it but I didn't know how to stop getting the alerts lol

I'm okay with this moving tbh we always want something to do in the Summer and this guarantees it now, even if a smaller event. Would love more vegan/vegetarian items though <3

I'm definitely disappointed by this. I understand the reasoning and I'm glad the artists will get a break, but no new items and no monthly beers and no Oktoberfest really makes me sad (and my gourmand pet sad too haha). Why couldn't keelhauliday move instead? :c

Jolly good idea to have a Sumtoberfest - a chilled beer IS best in summer! Though it will be Wintoberfest over here ........ well, beer is good anytime :D But I'll miss Gunter's Home Brew Club, I shall treasure my beers :)

I understand the reasoning but I’m fairly disappointed. I really enjoy Alegarten and the Selbstgebraute. I hope there is more to Morostide this year

Oh I hope so! We still have to get Jaxon to somehow no longer be a ghost restricted to the holiday, so he and Ian can be together forever finally!

There were new items last year, just not very many. It was the year that Gunter decided to go vegan, so there were a few vegan food items and some new shirts and things. And the brew club started, so we got the monthly drinks all year.

This will be a nice change, I think! Starting with Subeta's Anniversary, it's pretty much non-stop until Vesnali, then n.o.t.h.i.n.g. Even though this is a relatively small event, the art production for it is a lot, so it will be a nice change and give us something to look forward to during the summer. Now, can Keelhauliday be restocked like Alegarten? That would be a nice change too :)

This makes sense and it'll be nice to have an event during an otherwise slow time on Subeta... oh and I agree: vegan hot dogs are best in the summer. :D Looking forward to what Gunter has planned -- hopefully it involves lots of Oatmeal hugs. :3

I'm honestly glad to see the move, maybe this will give Gunter his fully appreciated time (I was usually squeezed as a collector around this time of year and am missing a TON of Alegarten things due to it). The idea of seeing him in Summer shorts in my head is actually amusing :3 I look forward to a future Music and Beer festival like half of my summer here. "Brew and 'Cue 2018" for sure then! Ditto on sad seeing the brew club go, but it was fun while it lasted. ~SU

I understand the change. I'll try to remember it's going to be summer next year, I'll keep checking next summer to see when it starts! Although Alegarten will always have a fall feeling for me, a lot happens between Keelhauliday and Morostide, so it does sound like a good idea.

huh..... so does this mean... maybe... a longer Morostide event?,,,,if so..I am all for the change... but Autumn is really important... and we should have something to at least mark the change before Morostide...even if it is something small...and no I don't mean the Millionaire center thing...The Autumn Equinox is.. more seasonal themed things in general would be nice... iunno it just feels weird moving Alegarten...but for the staffers I get it..

It doesn't sound like this will change Morostide. And I don't see anything new, was hoping for some new clothes. Also a little disappointed that the brew club is over, that was fun waiting to see what the new one would be each month.
