I believe, some people were slacking, relying on others to get in a good share of the quests, because it seemed mega easy and we did so immensely well the first time, big mouthing the goal could have been set much higher. And now with 2 more hard goals on hand with the boss and the minis - actually I "fear" all the other guys are already stomping ground - we don't have enough resources to make up for being lazy the first couple of days.
Reuse the prizes? So next time we would get TWO pet slots, right? :P

Oh, shoot! Completely forgot the Quest-a-Thon was happening! Haven't been doing my quests. :s
We're only at 445k/625k. It's still early to tell, but it's going to be extremely challenging to pull at least 125k like we did on Sunday. We have to beat that daily by a significant amount for the rest of the event.

ya, I didnt mean to sound whatever. I apologise if it came off rude or anything. Im used to doing my 90 quests & 30 BQs within a certain time frame. I dont like to sit on this site for more than 90min a day, so I do them as quick as possible ;) Also just got sick of ppl complaining about an event that happens more than once a year.

I'm with some of the others, as none of the rewards for the quest-a-thon are anything I want. I don't want another pet slot (as I'm not using all mine anyway) and the title and other things aren't enticing. Maybe offer a choice of something other than pet slots next time?
If you have so little time, chances are good you can't get the Core even if you tried. Do the lovely quests instead. Train your pet more, better luck next Gelatin War (and there will be one).
In terms of total amount of time needed for each goal, there's no comparison. In terms of who could possibly get the Core, we are a small portion of the total possible questers.

I feel like I just don't need another pet slot, maybe have an option next time for something small in place of a slot? Like a slot or maybe 25ccs? Cause I'd do a ton of quests to be able to do a day of training for a pet instead.
As much as I love things to do, making people choose between the already-high expectations for the quest-a-thon and grinding for battle achievements seems like something we should try to avoid next time

Still an awful idea to have two events going on at the same time, imo, because they're both time-intensive and distracting. :/ And some people would rather spend their time battling, which.. detracts from quest-a-thon, and vice-versa.
I really appreciate this because it's a kick in the butt for people to do as many quests as possible, and more profit is always nice? But I still feel like this was set up to fail once the gelatin war complicated things.

Ha. Haahahahahah. "35-40 mins". I am sheerly amazed at the idea that there are people with good enough internet connection or good enough health and wrist function that they can actually get all 90+ quests done that quickly. Unfortunately, that isn't subeta's demographic. Most of us either don't have good computers or good internet, or we have health issues and often issues with our wrists that mean questing takes a good 2+ hours of devoted time, sometimes longer if you need to take half hour breaks in between questing for the sake of being able to use your wrists later that day. Not everyone has even two hours to give to the site, either. I'm not saying that is anyone's fault. No one is to blame. I just wanted to mention that for most people questing is something we WANT to do, but it takes us A LONG TIME. :p
30-40 minutes is a lot of time if you usually only spend a few hours a day on the site, that's time that some people may decide to devote to battling instead when they may have otherwise done their quests if that was the only option.
doing at least 90 quests isnt "time consuming" unless some think 35-40min out of 24Hours is time consuming. Thanks for the WE quests until the remainder of this. :)
