Beanbag NPC Contest Winner



The results are in! The entries were competitive, but there was a clear winner in this competition and it was:

People in wheelchairs are miseries? They're just people, in wheelchairs. If you feel so bad about it, maybe you should start talking to actual people in wheelchairs and realise that they're not just sad cases, but actual human beings?

IIRC, she can't walk because she has panic attacks. Can't double-check because the page has been removed. How are chronic panic attacks NOT sad? Also, is that even realistic?

I have to add, nothing miserable about Shanti, imo. Aside from the complexion, her description is pretty much my daughter. Chronic illness and/or pain are a challenge, but everyone has their struggles. It's nice to see a character like her being included like anyone else. We are very happy about this NPC.

I voted for Calliope, but Shanti was my second choice, and I had a REALLY HARD TIME voting for just one, so this makes me happy! I look forward to seeing her join the ranks of our NPCs!

I have been in the top 10 of beanbag collectors for years. Today I stop collecting. The choices were from a very narrow new direction. Subeta will end up being a very small community of minorities and the silent majority will go. I was just made aware of a 7 year player who has left. I predict there will be more.

I'm so glad Shanti won. I feel like some of the other stories were good but would have worked with any sort of shopkeeper but Shanti's fit being a beanbag NPC so well. I was really hoping she'd win. Congrats Ursa.
