As what some are suggesting to extend the deadline, or to give us the slot anyway, I don't agree with that. If we really don't make it, maybe it's a good thing that we're reminded that all of us have to work hard if we want to reach the goal, and that things aren't just handed to us.
The other thing that helped the last Quest-A-Thon was that it was held in December. A ton of users return from hiatuses and things during that time because of Luminaire so that also greatly helped with the total then along with the quests being weekend special and giving out holiday items.
I'm really hoping we make it this time and I'm going to make sure I do all of my quests for tomorrow, but I'm not saying we won't be cutting it close. A smidge bit of an extension would be fantastic considering Father's Day and all that haha.
If weekend quests had been something worthwhile (Wizard or Saggi) instead of Cinthia that would've helped a lot. :( Oh well... I've been doing all quests every day including Sarah. Bought a 1 week GA just for this event.
I've pitched in my lot of quests for the day!! :'D Really trying to keep it going forward, lol! I've got my fingers and my toes crossed for that slot!
Not that I need another pet slot, but it'd be awesome if we could meet this goal! I've done 150 quests each day so far, and will do 150 tomorrow.

I feel bad that I haven't been able to participate in this Quest-a-thon as much as I normally do. But I've done all 100 quests today and will do them all again tonight and hope for the best.
Still being hopeful that things will pan out for all of us and we'll pull it off. Finished for tonight and plan to do them early tomorrow to get it out of the way since it's Father's Day. I just hope my husband doesn't want to leave first thing in the morning since he tends to be an early bird.

I don't know, the day isn't over. If we hit 600,000 today, we -might- be able to pull off 150,000 tomorrow. Please, don't give up and stop questing just because of the numbers! I mean, if people are doing stuff with their dads, that's awesome. Throw one or two quests our way if you can. But if you can do more, don't let the numbers keep you from doing more.
I hope that didn't seem selfish. I just really, really want that pet slot. At least I'll have enough money saved from doing the quests to buy it if I have to. But Millionaire Center slots are capped. :/
Pretty bummed that it looks like we won't make it... but you win some, you lose some! I'll just buy another slot at some point to ease the pain haha.
I think it'd be rad if the staff extended the event since so many people will be busy with Father's Day tomorrow. Even by another day or two.
at least those of us doing our 100+ quests per day know that we did our best!
I guess if we fail now, it'll make our victories seem all the better when they come in the future. Since we'll know the bitter taste of defeat. /will continue to do all quests every day like she was doing before (for the past few months...)
I only have one pet, and will only have ONE pet. But, I still try super hard. I love forum titles and the other stuff. I know A LOT of people have tons of pets and want tons more. So, I am happy that they can get a change for a pet slot. So, whoever said people don't care when they don't need or want the pet slot isn't true, well, for me at least. Keep up the good work everyone!
ngl i'm a little bummed out by our (lack of) progress but uh... if we don't make it, petition for the consolation prize to be the "is unlucky" title lmao
Good to know I'm not crazy and that it was indeed longer last time! is also right; I think the one thing that might've changed things this time was to make all quests function like the WQ for the weekend. Might've lit fires under some people.
I went to check in the december 2016 news: the goal was also 750k quests, but we had 11 days to complete it.
For those wondering, the last quest-a-thon back in December, all quests acted as weekend quests and some gave out old holiday items. That got everyone and their mother questing and that's basically the only reason why we hit the 750k goal very early, and ended on ~1.6m completed quests by the time the December quest-a-thon was officially over.
Having all quests be weekend quests for this weekend is about the only thing that could've saved this quest-a-thon. It's not likely we'll get 200k quests done in the span of ~30 hours when we barely got 100k done per 24 hours as is.
I seem to recall Amber saying that it's the same length of time as the last one (doesn't seem to me, but I'm probably remembering incorrectly). My guess is that a lot of people might be away for Father's Day. Or still in classes. Heck. I have some friends still in college who only had a week of vacation before summer courses, so they're already back in school.
Fingers and toes crossed we meet the goal. A bit worried, if I am being honest. But, I have HOPE in all the awesome questers out there.

I'm surprised too! The last time the goal was met so quickly, people were asking for rewards for doubling it. Either the time limit was shorter for this round, or far fewer people are participating.
This wasn't the first Quest-A-Thons? ^^' It was the first time for me and didn't know that there was a Quest-A-Thons before. I think the only thing we can do is to do our quests and think positiv :D I really want that extra pet slot :/

I really wish staff had put more thought into the timing of this Quest-A-Thon. Pokemon Go event, some people are still in school/taking exams in mid June, and now Father's Day... this was just really badly timed.

all my quests done again for today c: hope it helps! i personally don't need the slot (tokens are what i'm aiming for) but i'm still doing my bit for the team effort. i'm sure people who haven't been able to complete all their quests have legitimate reasons why, so if we don't make the 750k target i just hope people aren't too bitter and blamey...so let's just keep it civil and positive, because the supportive community here is what makes Subeta great ❤
TIME TO QUEST
I would just like to point out, even if people are not keen on a new pet slot, with the rotation from spring to summer items in the MC and the Quest Shops, this is an excellent opportunity for getting some addtional sP and QP (can't ever have too much of those, right? ;-P), while doing also something nice for you fellow subetans...^^
I think that 7 days is a bit low (Wasn't it more in the events before?) especially since the overall timing for this Quest-A-Thon wasn't the best, not only because summer time. It was one of my exam weeks so I had no time for Subeta before yesterday and I doubt I'm the only one currently going through this. I am here now and doing what I can but wish I could have done more...

I was just thinking the same thing about Sunday being Father's Day. I think it will definitely put a dent in the amount of quests completed , unfortunately on the final day. :( Still helping out as I would appreciate the prizes though.
Well, it's looking pretty bleak but maybe we can still squeeze by. At this point it's a long shot, considering this Sunday is Father's Day. But I'm still determined to do my part, even if we don't get a new pet slot when all is said and done.
The loyalty box type prize does sound pretty awesome. While I'm a bit of a pet addict myself, I really need to work on the 23 I already have. I'm doing all the quests I can for the team effort, and going for the bathhouse prize.
I really, really hope more people come on over the weekend and get lots of questing done. I've done my 100 every day (twice 101, heh) and I know lots of others have too. We can do it! ^_^
