Happy New Year’s!

We’ve updated the New Years Shop a bit, so items from previous years should show up in their correct tab. Before, the shop was based on when an item was added to the site, which meant items added before midnight of the first would show up in the tab for the previous year. This is no longer the case, so it should be a lot easier to find items!

New Year Tokens are going out via random events and quests this year until 11:59pm on January 10th. The Bathhouse also has a chance of giving them out year round, so don’t worry too much if you don’t have enough tokens for everything by the 10th!

I love that the New Year Celebrator got a new face on the main page! She doesn't have one on the 'turn in tokens' page though. :c Poor thing!

I never do my quests, because I'm just too lazy and I find it boring but you've forced my hand to do all of them so I can get all these wonderful items. I especially love those baby plashes omg ;^;

Yeah, I got confirmation from a programmer that there is a cache basically on REs. They’ll still go out a bit (roughly an hour or so after we shut them off). It’s why people got the carrot RE challenger a bit after we closed it on Fireside, too.

Weird, maybe there’s a cache on REs that they still go out a bit even after we disable them. It took a lot of individual tagging, but it wasn’t so bad! I think I only had the shop down for about an hour and a half earlier today to fix it. Let me know if you see anything out of place / etc. :)

Yes, random events like SBQ invites. And the quests that counted for the Quest-A-Thon give them out (Carl, Pete, etc). Not Shinwa, Battle, or Drills. ;)

Screw the new year, because it's already off to a bad start for me. I have morons firing guns in the neighborhood (celebratory gun fire is illegal in my state). -_- I hope others are having a better time. Party on, other people. Just, ya know, don't do stupid ish.
