Design Oatmeal a Home: Voting!

Voting is officially open for Design Oatmeal A Home! We’re trying a new voting system for user contests where you have a few choices. You can vote VOTE UP or VOTE DOWN for as many entries as you want or skip an entry to come back to later! Voting up is like casting a vote for an entry like previous entries while voting down is just you not voting for that particular entry.

Voting will end on November 15th at 11:59pm!

Prizes will be available at the end, this includes prizes for submitting an entry and voting!

Really wish staff had at least gone through and rejected the ones that are literally just images from google and stuff like that. =/ There is a LOT of them.

Other than that, I'm glad to see so many entries on this! So many artists I've never seen before, which makes me happy!

Please staff review the rule of this contest and don't give a rewards to everyone that submitted. Oh so many aren't even 'home' like that picture of a flower and nothing else. I mean they didn't even try... they didn't even care for the contest.

If I had know that I could submit ANYTHING, not even something that look like a home or sort, I would have.

I guess I'll be "that guy", but I'm really disappointed in the lack of creativity and effort in most of these. I've gone through at least 25, and I've seen only a couple that looked like any thought was given. And the ones I voted for weren't even that good from an artistic standpoint - but clearly the users spent time on it and it showed. Copy+pasting, MS paint, line drawings? I wish I had the time to enter, because this was a really fun topic. I was expecting more from the entries :( But kudos to the people who really tried!

Can we have a pre-voting that the stuff is going entry by entry and eliminating the entries that are just -there- for the prize?

I can actually just upload a blank photo and it'll count....

Yeah there are a couple that are incredibly huge and don't really let me see the whole image.

By the way, I like this voting process a lot better than the last contests'. It doesn't take forever to load a page. But yeah, I think a image size limit could be helpful.

Gonna sound like an old grump, but can there please be a vetting process? I get that there's a participation trophy, but really. A bowl? 100 copy/paste standard MS Paint block houses with zero effort? Kind of a slap in the face to the people who actually took their time to create a real entry...
